Good THursday morning I am weighing today since I will be away tomorrow.

I am down .2 of a pound. NOt a lot from last week but a lot from the beginning of this week. I am down not the same.

Yeah!! I woke up this morning and I am at my goal weight!! I weigh the same as the day I got married!!!! :cool1: I still have a lot to go, but I promised myself I would stop complaining about my weight if I ever got down to that number. BTW I have been married over 11 yrs.

I considered taking the day off at the gym and eating what I wanted to in order to celebrate, but I decided I worked too hard to have a set back. I weigh in tomorrow morning...nothing like an incentive on Thanksgiving Day.

I made my sweet potato casserole and cranberry sauce with splenda. I made another batch of each with sugar for the other guests. I also made sugar free chocolate pudding and have Fat Free Cool Whip for a dessert while my husband eats his pie. The stuffing I will just have to control my portion size...
that's my plan anyways. We'll see if it works ;)

Have a great Thanksgiving!! And, I'm still sorry about messing up my post for last week's weigh in. I guess we will have super duper weigh in percentage this week :lmao:

Thanksgiving had too much drama to go into here. I did mention it in my journal because I had to get it out of my system. MOst of the day was lovely

Wed and Thanksgiving day though I felt really funny when there was too much noise around me. On Wed the radio was playing and my son and his friends were talking in the back of the car and it was giving me the worst headache. Thanksgiving as everyone was getting ready to sit at the table everyone was talking )(and with 20 people in a small space that is a lot of noise and it got ot me so much so I was shaking a little. Maybe it is coming off the medication on Tuesday and it has to get out of my system. We'll see today. I have a surprise 60th birthday party to go to.

Well I am off to go grocery shopping and try to straighten out the house.

HeartforPooh! Congrats on the goal weight! Wonderful accomplishment. Today is my 33rd Wedding Anniversary and I wish I weighed what I did on that day. However, that's about another 50 lbs away! :scared1:

Down .8 this week. I'll take it, given that I had TWO Thanksgiving dinners this week. Stayed OP and exercised portion control.

Still struggling with about another .5 lb from my vacation gain. 1 week to gain it and more than 3 weeks to take it off. That SUCKS!

Hope everyone had a nice holiday. Did some cyber shopping yesterday, and regular shopping today. Put a big dent in my Christmas list.

I was only up .6 after my Thanksgiving meal. Not too bad, I think. I'm going to put the scale in the closet this week. I need to mentally break away from it like the doctor said a week ago. We'll see if it works.

Leanne, I feel you pain. It's so easy to put on and so hard to take off.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! My husband and younger son went hunting early this morning. They won't be back until tomorrow afternoon. My DS who is 21 and who I don't get to see very often is coming home for a home cooked meal! I'm excited. He wanted meatloaf and potatoes! He also said he was going to try to get off after Christmas to join my younger son and I to our trip to Washington DC. I'm so excited!
 
Good Monday morning everyone. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did not do too much this weekend. We went to a surprise 60th birthday party on Sat. Also on Sat we saw Bolt. It is a fun movie. Had a lot of laughs.

I am back form our trip. I was only up .2 on Friday, but then the weekend hit and I sort of lost it. I am up a little less then 2 lbs since Friday's weigh in. Ideally I will be able to lose those 2 fast (since I put them on so fast) and still manage to get a (total) loss on the scale this week. My goal is actually one-derland by Friday (204.2 today), but that may be asking too much.
 
Good Tuesday Morning HOw is everyone doing today?

Yesterday I was going to walk outside but by the time I got home a cold breeze was blowing so I rode my exercise bike while watching Oprah talk to Barbara Walters. It was a great show.

This morning I overslept by 10 minutes which threw me completely off so I will have to work out when I get home. Fortunately a meeting I had for this afternoon has been cancelled.

You can do it, Raenstoirm! I'm up also from the weekend. I tried so hard but found myself up on Monday morning. I feel more focused this morning. Of course I got on the scale even though my goal was not to. I have to go up into the attic to look for a box of decorations, I think I will put it up there for now!

We can do it!!!

Saw the doc again this morning. Two more weeks (well technically 2.5 weeks) of this diet and then I am essentially on South Beach for 6 weeks (starting the 20th) and then back on this plan for 6 weeks, south beach for 3 after that and then I will be considered a skinny person! :yay: After this process your body is "reset" to the size it stops at. So I am counting the days till April 10th! ;)

I am getting burned out and this weeks numbers are late again. The tabulations are made but I like to sleep on everything and check it in the morning to see how things look then. When I rush I make mistakes as the one I am about to confess to. Sorry ladies.

Sometimes I get weight reports that I question. I then contact the sender to verify the numbers. If I get the correct information all is well. If I do not we have problems.

During this challenge I have received numerous weight reports with 10 pound gains. I know it is possible to gain 10 pounds in one week. It could even out a huge loss, or be water gain, TOM (time of month), or just a REALLY bed week. Usually I contact a large gainer to question the report. Sometimes I do not. Week 8 I had a large gainer I did not contact. The next week they had a huge loss. After a contact the error was discovered. Fortunately this error did not effect the weekly team standings.

Last week was another 10 pound error. Unfortunately my questioning PM sent Tuesday morning was not answered before I posted the official announcement. Wednesday evening the PM was answered with 'oops I made a mistake and reported the wrong weight'. By then I was in Thanksgiving mode and had to walk away from everything BL.

Loyal readers here are the morals to the story

* Brenda - contact every person that gains over 6 pounds in one week to verify their report and do not make any announcement until a response is received no matter how long it takes.

* Losers - please respond quickly to my requests and PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE double check your PM or email before you send it to make sure you typed in your weight correctly.

Congratulations Black team you actually won last week. As a Blue team member who thought we had won last week it really hurts to admit this but I must be fair. That is what I am paid for. Oh never mind I don't get paid anything to do this. I must be crazy. Only 2 more weigh ins and then I can take my computer in for a tune up. It has been running like molasses lately and it certainly can't be due to operator error.

Here's a teaser. Week 11 numbers REALLY pleasantly surprised me. crunkyjens-Jen on the Black team said 'I must have ate magical turkey or something'. Jen you sure did and so did 12 other losers. We had 13 losses for the week, 5 maintains and only 3 gains. Great work ladies!! More excitement to follow tomorrow.

I can't believe BL is almost over. I think I am about at 7 lbs for the Challenge, which is not a lot, but a loss is a loss. I'm at 29 lbs since I started my journey back in June, and will continue after BL is over.

Having a good week so far, but I travel to Chicago this week-end for a birthday party for my sister, and I know there will be all sorts of Chicago food goodies to contend with (think Italian Beef sandwiches and hot dogs). I guess that's what the WW +35 points are for. :confused3

I wasn't happy with the scale this morning. I went off plan a bit and had a salad with walnuts and blue cheese crumbles for dinner. Both are a no-no. I rationalized that there were only a few in the salad and neither is really bad for you, but as I said the scale felt differently. I just have to work a bit harder the next two days to make my milestone this week.

There is a nip in the air. The Christmas carols have started. Christmas specials are on TV. The mall decorations are up. It's that time of the year to celebrate. It's also the time that many Americans put on a few pounds. Losers we need to stick together to make sure that is not us. Let's finish up this challenge with a bang. I am glad so many had some of Jens 'magical turkey' last week. Of our 23 weigh ins we had only 3 gains for 5.2 pounds, 5 maintains, and 15 losses for 27.9 pounds. Great job ladies!

Yes our last two weeks. This is it gang. How will you finish this thing up? I believe my records say we had 158 people commit to this at one time or another and we now have 35 left. Sorry I haven't posted in a lil bit, I've been very busy Christmas shopping and working some extra hours to buy some extra things for my loved ones, and maybe myself!

This past week over Thanksgiving, I lost 1.2 lbs! Like I told the weightkeeper, I think I ate magical turkey!

Good Thursday morning everyone. Only a week away from the final weigh in. Let's make a great one this week and next week.

I have not done any Christmas shopping. Someone dropped off an early Christmas present from my sister in law. It was a blow up lawn ornament. It was nice that it was WInnie the Pooh and the gang on a sleigh but we don't even put out Christmas lights. We have only 1 outdoor plug and that is in the back yard by the pool. Maybe we could put it on the deck of the pool and keep it away from the dog who will chew it to pieces.
