BK Whopper Bar restaurant opens at City Walk

I heard several announcements on the radio today about it's opening. :thumbsup2

Wonder when the other 2 are opening ??

I was hoping they would offer a veggie option but, alas, I do not see it on the official website. The fixings and cheese selections would be really nice to try.

Hopefully I will go this weekend to see Montgemery Gentry,I'll take pics then.Well unless someone beats me to it>>

Is it just me or does anyone else see a "Hidden Mickey" snuck into the sign? Universal CityWalk execs will be PO'ed if they notice it too.

Thursday is what I heard last night.

The Whopper Bar is pretty cool, even if it is a glorified mall food court stop. The menu is very limited--they do sell chicken tenders and two salads, but no chicken sandwiches, no burgers other than the Whopper or the "Steakhouse" burger. A ton of potential toppings--felt a bit like 5 Guys Burgers and Fries, for those familiar with that chain.

BTW, Whopper Bar does serve breakfast as well (standard BK crossaint-wiches, French toast sticks), which is very much needed at Universal.

Yes indeed and I love their breakfast sandwiches!

what are the prices? how much would it be for just a hamburger w/ ketchup. I'm plain and don't like all the condiments.

I love BK myself but DW said no whoppers on vacation :lmao:

As I recall it was somewhere between $6 and $7 for a basic Whopper meal--things like bacon come with an upcharge, the sauces don't. Double-whopper or "steakhouse" burger costs more, of course. But it looks like you pay the same for just ketchup or the works.

I am very happy to hear they serve breakfast. I bet they will be slammed and do a good business. Good for them!

Can't wait to check it all out. Gotta love it, something is always new.

We ate there today. I wasn't impressed. Three basic whoppers and three fries. No drinks at all. $21+. The tomatoes were yucky and my lettuce was mostly stems. Wish I had chosen another restaurant.
