BK Chicken Fries

Has anyone tried them?

I know they are no different from chicken fingers (except skinny) but everytime I see the commercial (with the rock guy in the big rooster mask) I get grossed out. Maybe that is a good thing, though. Has anyone here tried them?

PS - This is a useless thread, I know...I'm diverting myself as I wait for Katrina.

I like them.. they're different than the chicken nuggets or the chicken strips.. I don't know what it is, but they taste different. Like the coating or something..

I got them for the kids once. They are not skinny like fries, they are not long like the commericals and print ads say, they are about 2-3 inches long. I should have figured by the price, I think it was 9 for $2.25 or something close to that, so I ordered one of the nine and a med fries for the kids to split they ate it at home and were STARVING after it. I had to make grilled cheese. My point is that they are really small - don't believe the advertising. I can't vouch for the taste of them as I think all fast food chicken is gross. JMO

I don't think I would be able to stomach those things. I'm sure they taste fine, there is just something really wrong with chicken in the shape of a fry.

My girls' school in NC used to serve turkey fries, and those things smelled so vile. Maybe that is what is set in my mind.

My grandson HAD to have them. He ate two and that was the end of that. I thought they tasted like cardboard.

I think the commercial fits the product--both are pretty bad.

They're no great shakes. Just ground up chicken shaped and breaded. Nothing you would ever crave.

They are nasty to me. I like McDonalds Nuggets but don't like any of the chicken from BK. John-Cole will eat them though. Blech!

They are ok. Nothing to write home about. That commercial I can't even stand to watch anymore though.

They were ok, but I wasn't really impressed. Like someone else said, they're a lot smaller than they advertise them as being. And they did taste a bit cardboard-like, which is probably why they've got the fancy packaging that holds a dip container. You need the dip to be able to get them down.

I tried them yesterday. I didn't care for them, I ate one and I left the rest on the table and went to put a load of laundry in the washer and when I went back to the dining room, they were gone. I guess the dogs liked them.
