BJ's raising membership fees $5 and $10 depending on level starting in 2025

Makes sense never been there before. What exactly are the types of things you typically get in those 'coupon books'? Store is still under construction, so I have no idea how long before it actually opens. The postcard said you have to use it within 2 months of signing up. It might be another 2 months before construction is complete and store actually opens.

There are a lot of coupons most we don't use.
We will certainly use the tide and charmin and bounty ones and make sure to check https://www.pggoodeveryday.com/rebates/ to make sure we get enough after coupons as well.

Coupons = $$ off specific products
Rewards = $$ off anything including Gift Cards.

The other caveat with rewards is that you have to have $10+ to redeem but if you have $10.05 in rewards you can redeem all not just $10.
If you go to return something that a reward was used you will lose a portion of that money on the return and the rewards do not return hence I do separate transaction and redeem them all on Disney GC and then check out with my other items.

Yes, good to know. Glancing at the list most are products we wouldn't buy. I like the stores better where items are just 'on sale' and you don't have to fiddle with a coupon.

Have been frustrated trying to redeem other 'rebates' in the past from various stores. Most of the time it seems like a game for them to find reasons to deny your rebate since they claim you didn't fill out something correctly, checked the wrong box, used the wrong color ink or didn't provide the necessary documentation even when you did.................LOL. Usually I end up throwing it in the trash.

Very true I do as well but if you are using the app to scan and pay for things it is smart enough to say "Hey there is a coupon want to clip it" and then it automatically adds the extra savings.

Costco used to have coupon books years ago as well. Sam's I much prefer as they are "Instant Savings" and then come off right away with no fooling around.
