I like the Boma idea. Very nice for the Mac and Cheese set but a few unusual flavor's.
What I found real unusual was the steak that was served with a side of macaroni and cheese.
I mean: really?? Is it normal to combine those two in the US??
I certainly isn't here!![]()
P.S. Will also be in Nassau for a day while on the Disney Dream Cruise. Any accessible restaurants with "bizarre" menu fare?
Sydney's mom: it's okNo offense taken.
But I've been to New York too, we had dinner there in the hotel's restaurant. Fairly upscale so instead of macaroni and cheese as a side it was pasta au gratin![]()
Which just made me wonder: is it really common?? Or did I just happen to find the two places where that is considered a normal combination? Never found it outside the US yet. I mean you need to ask in order to learn
And heck yes, any country has it's own combination that other countries think of as weird or strange....
I mean we are apparantly one of the few countrys that consider fries and mayonaise to be a natural combination, which it is of course![]()
