I am a Tonga Toast virgin, and I plan on trying it for the first time in Dec. Now, I apologize if this question is a little obsessive, but . . .
I have planned to enjoy room service one morning and Kona Cafe another. I really can't switch them due to Kona's opening time being later than room service.
Both Kona and Room Service at the Poly (where I'm staying) offer Tonga Toast. I would feel very strange having my first time be with Room Service instead of the authentic restaurant, it just doesn't feel right, and I'm not even sure it's the same Tonga Toast, but there's not really anything else special on the Room Service menu- I could get pastries and a fruit cup, but it's Disney, so I'd like something more special. If I ordered the Tonga Toast through Room Service I could get the Macadamia Pancakes at Kona Cafe. Two special choices.
So -
should I get Tonga Toast at Kona? or Macadamia Pancakes at Kona and Tonga Toast through Room Service?
(To paraphrase Cher from "Clueless"- You see how particular I am about my breakfast . . . )

just kidding. I would get the Tonga Toast at Kona. But I will tell you that the room service at the Poly is really good, too. I like the island potatos.
