Bit of advice needed

Hi All,

We made a bit of a lst minute booking 3 weeks ago and are off to WDW in 6 days time. We was originally on a tightish budget with First Choice to stay at the Rodeway Inn on I-Drive. We already declined the "free" car as the insurance for a economy car was alot more than it cost to get a 4x4 from Usrentacar.co.uk.
Anyway, there are 4 of us going, 2 adults,DS 7 and DD 3 and the thought of all of us crammed in a single room and the kids in the same bed began to concern us. I rang FC and asked to upgrade to an aparthotel or villa but they wanted at least £1.2K extra. I then found a very good deal on a vills for 2 weeks and have paid for that now.
I've rambled on a bit but should I call FC and cancel the hotel room or would this cause any other issues? I ask as when we booked the flights alone cost more than the package deal. Would FC try to charge me anymore?

i am not sure i fully understand what you are asking ! FC won't care if you don't sleep in the room so you could just leave the booking as it is

Hi Paul,

I would just leave the FC booking as it is. As Natalie says - they won't care if you sleep in the place or not. They may also try to reassess your booking to a fly-drive or flight only which may incurr admin charges.

You have done the right thing by getting something bigger - a small hotel room with 2 kids is not great - I've been there

I think I would just leave it as it is, as CorayCalTownhome said you may have to pay admins and it would probably be more hassle than it's worth.
