we are thinking of making reservation at Bistro de pARIS (UPSTAIRS IN FRANCE)
what are your opinions of this restaurant? we are going for our anniversary is this a good choice???
we are also eating at california grill and narcosees.

Subbing...I had this planned now I'm second guessing it. Thanks for posting!

We love it there and it seems to be less crowded than Chef de France. Food is great, never a bad time...although sometimes we get a snooty/inattentive waiter, but it is rare. I'd definitely not think twice about eating there. :goodvibes

Definitely do Bistro
. . . good food
. . . great service
. . . wonderful atmosphere
. . . almost totally adult *

* They discourage kids. They do not even have a kid's menu. it is a nice, quiet and relaxing dinner.

DH and I love Bistro. It's usually very quiet, adult only atmosphere. The food is good, the setting is intimate and romantic. We try to eat here for our last meal every trip.

Bistro de Paris is probably the best restaurant in Epcot, in our opinion. Easily on a par with Narcoossee's and CG if you discount the "fireworks factor".

Went for the first time in May. This was one of the best meals I have ever had! Had this yummy pork tenderloin, wrapped in bacon with mushrooms. It was done perfectly!

Another rave was the dessert sampler. Shared this with a friend and it was perfect, a little bit of everything but the flambe.

Dinner for 2 was about $100 w/o alcohol. 1 appy shared, 2 entrees, and the dessert sampler shared. It was a night f great service, and an excellant meal. I would recommend it without hesitation

It does not take DDP  but does accept the DDE card.

Jody's correct, they don't take DDP.

Bistro is the only theme park restaurant that does not accept DDP.

Ahhhh...I guess that explains why we never have trouble getting ressies there! :thumbsup2

If it's offered, try the tasting menu! It's wonderful! Also, the restaurant only accepts reservations 30 days out. Have fun!

There have been a number of mixed reviews of Bistro -- mixed in the sense that the reviewers either loved the place or they had real problems with it. That suggests to me that the quality can be there, but sometimes isn't.

I found the reviews of Chefs to be more consistently favorable, though admittedly it's a very different dining experience.
