Can anyone tell me anything about this restaurant and your experiences the good/bad? There isn't too much written about this place on these boards. Thanks in advance! Angel

oops :rolleyes1

I was just about to refer you to the great review by Bill Sears on the review board..... but I see you've seen it !

I hope someone else has some info for you!:thumbsup2

1) Bistro is one of the five (TS) Disney restaurants which we patronize.
2) We think
. . . the menu items are creative
. . . the atmosphere is hushed and relaxing
. . . the service is impeccable
. . . the patrons respect the restaurant and are well mannered
. . . the cost versus value is very reasonable

I just have to ask what the other 4 restaurants are. Your list of expectations sounds like a perfect dining experience for us too.

OP,
Sorry, to go OT. :o We're planning to eat at Bistro in May. I'm looking forward to see what others say about it.

We've gone to the Bistro twice, with the last time being several years ago. The food was absolutely incredible both times. This is a place we like to go without our children, so that limits how often we get there. The first time we went, I ordered a steak. It was over an inch thick and so tender you could cut it with your fork! Not only that, but it tasted wonderful. The atmosphere is very subdued and perfect for a romantic evening. It truly is one of our very favorite restaurants and I wish we could get there more often than we do.

This year's "alone" dinner for us will be at JIKO. We've wanted to try it for a long time and it will work out well for us because we will be staying at the AKV and the kids won't be far away. They can be trusted to stay in the room by themselves for a few hours. DD12 and DS8 know that we like one dinner by ourselves during our trips. ::MinnieMo

The only thing I know about it is you have to do 30 days ADR. I tried to make ressies for December and they wouldn't let me :(

we went to dinner here last december and it was amazing. The service was outstanding, the food close to as good as Victoria and Albert's (my DH and I disagree here -- he thinks it was better than V&A). The only negative I can think of is the hostess downstairs -- not the friendliest of people, but the staff upstairs more than made up for it.

I agree with the OP. I searched for reviews; only found the one already mentioned.

We plan to try it - maybe in May. We were going to go in December, but I don't think my mom could sit through that long of a meal due to back pain issues.

Anyone sneak a camera in??? I'd love to see pictures!
