Bistro De Paris Questions

Anyone have any opinions about the quality of the food at Bistro De Paris in Epcot? I can be a picky eater, and I'm definitely not into eating snails or frog legs (which I think I saw on the menu there), is this a good choice for a place to eat anyway? Also, I heard you can only reserve it 30 days in advance, does that mean there's something special about this restaurant I should know (for instance, is it possible to view Illuminations from the restaurant?)

I am also picky, and you couldn't pay me to even try either of those items. I had a good steak there. Service was good and easy on the eyes.

They do'nt have high chairs or a childrens menu, it's a rather adult atmosphere, although the tables are close together and you can easily hear others conversations.

Bistro de Paris is wonderful. Food quality is very high and the service is great.

Illuminations can theoretically be seen from the restaurant, but there are only a few window tables with a good (not even great) views. In addition, the music is not piped in, so much of the Illuminations experience would be lost if you tried to watch it from there.

Le Bistro is definately a great place for adults who enjoy an outstanding meal with our without some fantastic wines. Not really a place for kids.

Illuminations views are limited at best..don't go there just for that.

If you enjoy fine dining at a leisurely pace..le bistro is for you. If you are the eat quick and get moving type people..le bistro is not for you.

Sounds good, I'm into the idea of a meal with a relaxed, more romantic atmosphere, and I'll definitely give it a try on my next trip in April and it's always nice to try something new. I don't need to see Illuminations from the restaurant, but I was only asking to see if I should bother asking for a window table, and I didn't understand why it's only possible to reserve this restaurant 30 days in advance.

The Bistro is one of our must do when we go to Disney, food and service are top shelf a peacefull place to enjoy a romantic meal.
