With 6 nights in WDW, we're going to be doing a few signature dinners and using snacks (and food we bring with us) for breakfast to use the extra credit for signature dining.

Children- am I correct in assuming that the children will be able to order off the adult menu and still be covered under the deluxe dining plan since a kids menu isn't available there?

Adults- The same 1 app, 1 entree 1 desert? How about the 4 course prix fix? I'm sure it wouldn't include the wine pairing, but what about the prix fix itself?

Thanks in advance!
:thumbsup2

yes, my DD's are well behaved :cutie: and will be able to handle an extended sit down meal without issue.

edit: Ouch autocomplete on the phone really did a number to my posts here, lol.

Not sure exactly what you are asking? Are you going to do the deluxe dining plan, and if yes - how old will your children be? Non of the deluxe dining plans include alchohol, as that is charged separately, such as the wine pairing. Maybe someone else can chime in about the kids options, but I imagine there will be some children's menu options and not the adult menu.

Bistro de Paris didn't have a children's menu, so I believe the OP is thinking the children can order off the adult menu. I really don't know if Bistro now has a children's menu or not. Can't tell you to assume they haven't acquired one. As there has never been a TS restaurant on the dining plan with no child's menu, I don't know how Bistro will handle that.

Alcohol is never included on DDP except at dinner shows. No idea how Bistro handles that either, but I would assume the wine pairing is not included.

Sorry maybe I should have been a bit more clear.

I know alcohol won't be included but would the non wine version of the prix fix be considered a combo app/dinner/desert combo. Similar to how the "feasts" at Marrakesh are handled.

The ddp says children only need to order if the kids menu "if available". LSAT time we did the deluxe one or two places we ate at allowed the kids to get adult apps since they didn't offer apps.for kids

My DD's will be 6 and 8. My DD14 will obviously be treated as an adult, I'm familiar with the agrees.

Forgive the formatting, sent from my phone.

There were reports a while back that Bistro started using the kids' menu from Chefs for children, so I wouldn't count on being able to order off the adult menu for the kids who are under 10.

Seems a waste to use the kid menu from Chefs and still charge 2 credits for it. That's not exactly a fair practice.

Thanks for the heads up though.

the truth is, unless you get a post from someone who has been there this year and used DDP, there's no way to tell what the restaurant is doing now about children's menus or prix fixe. I don't think I can say you can anticipate right now that your kids will be ordering adult entrees. It's possible the menus have changed to accommodate the DDP.

I have not seen anyone post that they've actually been there on DDP yet.

Thanks TDC Nala. Hopefully someone has some information. If not, I'll be sure to come back and update this after our visit.
