Birthstone rings?

My birthstone is amethyst, which is perfect for me since my favorite color is purple. I am not a big fan of rings. I will wear one if I ever get a proposal, but that is about it. I wear the birthstone Mickey earrings that are sold in the parks. They are offered in fake silver as well as fake gold, which makes me happy because I prefer silver. Yay!

My mother wears a necklace with all of our birthstones; one amethyst, two garnets, one October (the pink one), and one sapphire. She bought big charms for her children and decided that she will add on smaller charms when has grandchildren.

I love my birthstone (emerald) but I don't wear it because I don't wear jewelry.

My birthstone is a diamond, so my engagement ring does double duty. For our 10th anniv., DH got me a ring wrap that has 2 small diamonds and 2 amethysts, which is DH's birthstone. One Mother's Day DH surprised me with a mother's ring - leaves in that "Black Hills Gold" (two-toned gold) with birthstones of both of our DS's plus our DD who was stillborn. Besides a watch, my engagement/wedding rings and mother's ring are the only jewelry I wear.

I never thought about wearing my child's. I like my birthstone allright, but it doesn't look good with my coloring. Its July, ruby.

DH/DS gave me one for Mothers Day and its DS's, which is also mine(December, Blue Topaz). Then DS#2 came along...in January. I dont really care for Garnet so I havent made it a point to get anything with his BS on it. Poor kid!

I wear it everyday...with 5 stones set in a channel setting, it doubles as my wedding band (that no longer fits..lol)

I love my birthstone, which is also ruby, and I wore it in both my HS and college rings while I wore those. But now I have my mother's ring with aquamarine, alexandrite, and a diamond (bless DD#2 for being an April baby! ). I still have some ruby earrings, although I very rarely wear nice ones anymore. Sometimes when I get up at 6 to get ready to teach I'm lucky if I remember to wear earrings at all!
