We are going to Disneyworld from the 14th to the 28th June. It is my Birthday the day we fly back (28th June) so i won't be in the parks on the actual day. My question is can i choose a day close to this to get a birthday button or is this cheating? Do they check your birthdate? If not why doesn't everyone get one - it sounds fun!!

WDW does not check your ID to verify b-days. Think of it this way:
When you step into WDW (anywhere in WDW) you're on a stage... you can act out anything you would like. If you want to celebrate your b-day early... then you should.
I will admit that we have done this before and it was not quite as magical as my real b-day but I think it still is really exciting!!!
Happy b-day early!!!

We will be there for the week in between both girls birthdays. They will get the pins each day to wear at the parks, but I chose one day each to actually celebrate their birthday at a character meal.

I don't mean to be a downer...I guess I'm just venting, but we just returned from WDW where we celebrated DH's B-day. I got him a pin and made the kids special shirts, I reminded the CMs at the GF 3 times that it was his B-day and nothing! No one even wished him a happy birthday. I didn't really expect much, but I would have thought someone could have at least said "happy birthday!"

We had a completely opposite experience. My brother-in-law celebrated his 38th birthday this past December during our trip to WDW. We got him plenty of pins (one at each park, I believe) and a birthday hat that lights up and plays the birthday song. First thing that morning the chef in the food court at POFQ announced to the WHOLE FOOD COURT that "THIS IS KEVIN!!! AND TODAY IS KEVIN'S 38TH BIRTHDAY!!!! HELP ME SING THE BIRTHDAY SONG" Everyone in the food court stopped what they were doing and sang Happy Birthday to Kevin! *Note-this was December 23rd so the food court was crow-ded!* A busboy (busboy is being used lightly here, I think he was around 5000 years old) came over to our table and tied a balloon around Kevin's wrist, that was hilarious. He had experiences like that all day...he got free Mickey bars, popcorn - I've never seen so many people saying "Happy Birthday, sir, Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday". It may have been his 38th birthday but it was his happiest ever, he'll gladly tell you that.

That is so awesome! We are celebrating my husband's (and mine, too) birthday at WDW. I am really shy, so he is going to be the one with the whole "It's my B-day" get-up. I already notified LTT that it is B-day...we have PS for the MVMCP...so it should be fun! I even ordered him a cake there that they will give to him that night. He loves to be the center of attention :jester: . I have to let our resort know and the other restaurants I plan on making PS arrangements at. The great thing is-he has no idea!! Not until we get there

We will be in Disney for my DH actual birthday 6/22 and celebrating. Youngest dd's birthday is 6/25 day we leave to come home so we are celebrating day before. Oldest DD's birthday is 2 weeks after we come home thinking about letting her celebrate there also so she doesn't feel left out.

Happy Birthday ( June 28th is my Birthday, too :) ) We were in WDW for my birthday 2 years ago. I wore the pin on my lanyard all week. The coolest thing I had happen was on Space Mountain when the CMs said Happy Birthday to me over the PA system while we were on the ride :goodvibes Have a great birthday :cheer2:
