Ive read on here that there are a few hotels the will leave a special treat or something if you mention it's a child's bday during your stay. My son will being turning 6 during our Disney trip and we are staying at Fairfield Inn anyone know if they do anything?? Just wondering if. Should call and tell them

What I did for my DD's 6th bday at Disneyland was this:
got a whole bunch of disney stuff (autograph book, custom tshirts, mickey ears, etc) including a bday card from Mickey and friends and a letter.
Since we were arriving late and DD was asleep I dropped the stuff in the room before we all piled in, so it looked like it was there before.
She was so exicited about it.
What you can do if you want to do something similar where you get your own stuff, is ask them at checkin to go put that stuff in the room, while you guys go park the car and get your bags etc.

The in room celebration is for Disney resort hotels. They will, however, deliver disney gift baskets to good neighbor hotels ( Which Fairfield Inn is). Also I have told the front desk at FFI during check in that I was celebrating for my DD5 and was offered to have a gift amenity delivered to my room. She absolutely loved them. They are typically gift bags, a balloon bouquet, and the bag has disney park items and candy from the parks!
