Has anyone here ever faked their birthday at disney?

Because I have always wanted to do that..:goodvibes

I know its kinda ripping them off but I think its awesome but im always too scared to do it.

Anyone ever faked their b-day?

We didn't fake a birthday but were there for my DS9 birthday in January however we didn't get anything free because of his birthday. The CM's told him alot of "Happy Birthday"'s but that was about it. We got the free birthday button from city hall. No need to fake it if you ask me.

We would never fake a birthday. Just wouldn't seem right to us.

But we do think its OK to celebrate if its within +/- a few days.

No, we'd never do that.

If it's that important to a person, I just suggest going to WDW during his/h er b-day. Which, btw, we are doing...we've booked an 8 day trip during DD's b-day this year.

We have never did that either, but not sure if it would be a problem. We are going this year during my DH's 50th b-day, and our 28th anniv. I wonder if they have buttons for anniversary's?

i have neva faked a b-day but i have thought of it cuz i have neva been during my b-day cuz i always have school then so i have only thought about it

They do have buttons for anniversary, I believe they are at the same place you get birthday buttons, someone correct me if I am wrong.

I must admit that my family faked a birthday once. :sad2: We were at Chef Mickey's and my brother didn't like any of the breakfast food. He is a very picky eater. The hostess came to our table and asked if we were celebrating anything. My Dad said "Yes, it is my son's birthday!" The hostess asked "Really?" At first my Dad admitted it wasn't, but then said "Actually it is his birthday." A brother got a cupcake with a candle and everyone in the restaurant sang happy birthday to him. My brother really liked the cupcake. We never tried getting a birthday pin or anything though.

In other news, I am celebrating my 26th birthday in WDW in September! Whooo Hooo! I am going to wear the pin the entire weekend though. My birthday was never a big deal when I was younger, so I am going to celebrate it to the nines this year! :woohoo:

Haven't faked it--but always wanted to be in Disney on my birthday. So, I finally have a trip planned to be there on my birthday. (Actually, I had to extend the trip by a couple of days so I could be at WDW on my birthday. I thought that was a good reason to extend a trip...:cool1: )

My dd7 princess: b-day is in Aug. and we are going in May to WDW, I've got the character breakfast and dinner planned with her b-day being celebrated, I haven't lied, just said we want to celebrate her b-day while we are there. I've told her that if she's asked when her birthday is to say it's this summer, or it's coming up soon. Than way she's not lying. I would never tell her to lie or tell one just to celebrate her b-day, we really do want to celebrate! She's asked about her b-day party this year and we told her that this trip is her
b-day celebration, it's my ds14 b-day too (July) but he doesn't want to have WDW do anything for it because he would be embarassed. LOL  He thinks he's to grown up for that now. My baby is all grown up now.

We've never faked a birthday at Disney. I don't think I would feel right doing that. We just plan our trips around birthdays if we want to celebrate there. We are going in May and will be there for our middle son's 5th birthday! We are SO excited. :yay:

Never faked it. Just plan to be there for the birthdays. Last year was DH's and this year we're doing DD's (SURPRISE!) and my own. I don't think it's cool to lie about it just to get special treatment.

I've gone to WDW for my birthday the last 2 years and am going again this year for it (12 more days! ) and we will be there for a week, but I only wear my Birthday Button on my actual birthday. The first year I went on my birthday, I wore by Birthday Button on my actual birthday and I put it on the day after...but it seemed weird to me, so I took it off 1/2 way through the day.

I don't think you are "ripping Disney off" if you celebrate your birthday and it's really not your birthday, but believe me, it's more fun if it really IS your birthday!
