Birthdays--- do they have anything special?

So, we are going to wdw next week for my son's 3rd birthday. I'm just wondering if they do anything at the MK and/or MGM to celebrate or recognize a birthday.

Hi there! Yes they give a free pin to anyone who is celebrating a birthday at Disney. Just go to City Hall on Main Street in the Magic Kindgdom to receive it. It's lots of fun to wear around the parks. I believe there may be other places to get them, but that is the one where we have always gone for a birthday in our family. Hope your trip is great!

My daughter got a pin last week at MGM, there very cute and sometimes if they see that you have the birthday badge they will let you go to the front of the line or do special things for you.

We've gone for my dh's birthday for the past two years. Get the pin. Also, call your resort and tell them you have a birthday. Sometimes they send a card and balloons to the room. If you have ADR's at a character meal, you can call ahead and for like $13 extra, you can get a cake and a card signed from all the characters. It's really cute.

They're advance dining reservations. They put you ahead of walk-ins for character meals. You can call Disney Dining 1-407-WDW-DINE, and ask what they have open for that day.

i went for my birthday and i'm now 31 i never grew up lol. i got a signed card from mickey and minnie at my resort the poly. wore a birthday pin on actual b-day when i was buying a frozen coke the cm let me get free chips lol that was a surprise never expected that. at the barber shop i wasn't sure if i could get to the shop on my actual birthday (was may 5th start of happiest celebration wasn't sure if it would be open) went in on the 2 days before told them i wanted hair pixie dusted for birthdaysince wasn't sure i would be able to get there on actual day got hair cut the nice cm styled my hair with pixie dust and gel had cool hair for the day lol. i did actually manage to get in the barbershop on actual b-day crowds were low and just had pixie dust sprinkled on it. my dad's b-day was day before mine and we were getting a figment item at a stand in epcot dad was wearing a birthday pin and the cm picked up the phone and handed it to us goofy wished us a happy birthday lol. we ate at norway on his birthday and i told them mine was next day but epcot would be closed on my b-day so we both got birthday cards signed by the princesses lol I had an adr for my birthday dinner at the castle my table was decorated with mickey confetti and streamers got a lil birthday cake with mickey sprinkles on it. So tell them it is whoever's birthday you never know what will happen also get the birthday pin cms will wish them a happy birthday and might surprise you. best place to celebrate a birthday is the happiest place on earth
