hello!
Going to disney for the first time with kids and husband in Sep. 04!!! I decided to take my mom along as well and it just so worked out that we will be there on her 60th birthday!! None of us have ever been to WDW before. We are staying at the Carribean beach. I would like a few suggestions for something fun and unique to do with my mom on her b-day. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!!

:wave2: Disney Birthdays are awesome no matter what age! When you are there tell everyone it is her birthday you get "special treatment" it is awesome. Make sure you go to the Town Hall in the MK to the left when you first walk in. (Not that I know my way around or anything LOL) There they will give you a bday button and then you don't have to repeat yourself to everyone you see. I was there for my bday 9/8 of 02 princess: it was so cool! Plus in Sept the lines r not long and it is not really crowded. A great time of yr 2 go.

Birthdays are wonderful at Disney. We celebrate a birthday for someone in our family there each year. Make sure that you mention to the CMs at checkin that there is a birthday in the bunch. We have had Goofy call and wish the birthday person a Happy, Happy day. Also, sometimes the CMs leave a signed birthday card in the room.

Make sure that you stop at Guest Relations at whichever park you enter on that day (or City Hall at Magic Kingdom) and get a "Today is my Birthday" button. CM's are really great about noticing these and sometimes a few "regular guests" notice too and give a birthday shout out.

Mention it to your server at each restaurant. They often have little birthday cupcakes for the celebrant!

Lastly, we had a birthday fireworks cruise when DS turned 7. It was a most memorable experience for the whole family!

Have a wonderful trip!

 Hi:)
Welcome to the Dis Boards! My niece will be celebrating her 24th birthday while we are at WDW in August so I really appreciate your thread.:D
I also read in the Passporter guide book about a company that helps to put together events while visiting WDW. It is called Gifts of a Lifetime. It may cost you some extra money but here is the website if you are interested. http://www.giftsofalifetime.com/
I like what has been suggested so far, great ideas!
Have a wonderful time and Happy Birthday to your Mom::yes::
