My mom is celebrating a birthday when we go to WDW the week of July 4th. Has anyone had any experiences at restaurants with a relatives birthday? Anything special the members do?

This last weekend was my sister's birthday weekend at WDW.
I made PS at Chefs de France for Saturday. I had them note on the PS that we had a birthday person in our party. (And I reminded our waiter when she was away form our table.)
At the end of our meal several waiters gathered and walked over to her while singing (what we assume to be Happy Burthday). She received a nice (free) mousse style dessert there. She was very pleased. :)

On Sunday DH got her a button at MK Guest Services.
Many CMs wished her a happy birthday. :)

We ate lunch at Cosmic Ray's and a CM there gave her a free mini chocolate cake. It was very yummy. (Large food portions, so she shared her cake.) The cake tasted much better than it looked.
We ate dinner at CRT. They also gave her a small chocolate mini cake. (More like a cupcake, only dome shaped.) She did not eat much of that. She said the cake from Cosmic Ray's was better!

Get the (free) birthday button. And if you make any meal res', make sure the birthday is noted on the reservation.
