My mom and I are planning on taking a birthday trip next October to celebrate my birthday which is September 29, I need to mention it is my 21st birthday. We are going mainly to go to the Food and Wine festival or for us the wine festival, ha just kidding. We need to know which hotel to stay at we are deciding between Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk, or Wilderness Lodge. We do not want to rent DVC points from someone and so we would be at the regular parts of the resorts. Also I should mention that I will have been WDW 9 times. princess:

I definitely think an Epcot resort is the place to be, especially if you're there for the wine/food festival. Nothing like being able to walk there and back. For 2 adults, I'd say the Boardwalk, or even the Swan/Dolphin if that fits better into your budget. Yacht Club is another nice option, it's quieter I think than the Beach Club. Really, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the resort choices over there.

They are all great choices...I'd probably pick BC because I spent 8 days there this summer & LOVED it.

Since you'll be spending a lot of time in Epcot, I would not choose WL.

Im staying 5 nights at the BCV in Nov for my 50th! NEED to be close to "my men in skirts"!

(and 4 nights at Pop and 4 nights at Coronado)

At Boardwalk you're closest to the restaurants (and bars, LOL). It's a more laid=back atmosphere than YC, which, while beautiful, can be more stuffy. BC strikes a nice in-between, but I still think BW would be best.
The only difference in points or not is that you're staying in the regular hotel, not the Villas, which is just accomodations. The whole resort is open for you to see.
Enjoy yourself - since I managed to not go completely overboard, I have fond memories of my 21st, and hope you will, too.
:goodvibes

It was a toss up between BC and BW for me. I don't like the theming of BW as much and it feels "busy" to me. I prefer BC since it is more laid back.

For two adults, I would say the Boardwalk. It is a great resort, what a great way to celebrate your birthday.

I'm a big fan of the YC, but if you plan to focus on the Food & Wine festival, any of the Epcot resorts would be good choices. The Wilderness Lodge makes no sense in that regard.

I voted for the boardwalk. It has a very busy atmosphere and the singing/dueling pianos at Jellyrolls can't be beat for some adult fun! And being food/wine so close to epcot. Whatever you decide have a wonderfully magical bday!

vote for BC. Very easy access to Epcot and all the festivities there.

I voted for BC, but any of the ones on the poll except for the WL lodge what be great. Pick the theme/room decor you like best of the BC, YC and BW. I, personally don't like the room decor of the BW, so that would be the bottom on my list of those three. BC is a shorter walk into Epcot then YC and I think it is a shorter walk then BW. On your twenty-first birthday, that may be VERY important!:lmao:
