The best:
1. Lanyards they gave us for the CP dinner package, it got us started collecting pins and we had a great time trying to decide which ones we wanted. Also a great way to handle the entry and discounts. That one idea started us off on a collection.
2. Disney Quest – This was a big surprise that we probably would not have explored without the Unlimited Passes. I really thought I would be too old to really participate but it was FUN!
3. Timing – I would go again at this time of year. The crowds were reasonable, the weather was warm, the decorations are beautiful.
4. Boats – This is one of our favorite things about the World – riding the boats near MK and now the ones between Epcot and MGM. It’s the only way to travel and will keep me paying deluxe prices.

The worst:
1. Strollers and wheelchairs – I know that are a necessity but sometimes I wish that there would be paths for walking only
2. Lack of good pictures – They used to have a wonderful set of postcards for each hotel. Disney does not do enough with the great scenery it has. I never trust my own picture taking skills so I like to buy postcards with good professional shots – I thought most that were offered were terrible, BUT I could buy the lovely notecards at $4.00 apiece! I also ahd hope to find a calendar for 2001 that incorporated pictures – nada! The calendar they offered was lousy, even the Sierra Club knows that a good photograph sells. How about a poster of Spaceship Earth duded up for the millenium – zip. For such a moneymaking machine, I cannot understand why they don’t exploit photogrphy more!
3. Keep the parks open a little later in the off season, early closings send everyone to Epcot which was very crowded.

Things I still want to do:
1. See Boardwalk at night, go to Jellyrolls
2. Ride the boats from Downtown to Port Orleans
3. See Dixie and Port Orleans
4. Pleasure Island at night – Comedy Club
5. Get a WL xmas ornament – they sold out before I could get one our last night – lesson: buy it when you see it!
6. Kona Café for Tonga Toast

I agree about the postcards. I bought a postcard of the Castle. When we got home I was looking through an old photo album for a baby picture to frame of my nephew. I was showing my kids pictures of my Disney trip 20 years prior and there in the album was the exact same postcard! I knew it looked a little dated, but not that much!

Thanks for posting this...Boardwalk at night is great!! :)
