Our December visit to WDW is somewhat of an early birthday present for my 8 year old who thinks she is in training to be the next Cinderella or Aurora.

We will be there Dec. 17-22 but her birthday isn't until Jan 8. We tried to book our trip closer to her b-day but it just wasn't possible with the holidays and school....Does anyone know if any special type of treats are available for birthdays?

We have celebrated my DD's "unbirthday" at WDW. If you make a PS somewhere (most likely one of the princess bkfsts I would imagine;) ) then make sure to tell them that you have a birthday you are celebrating. Can't speak for the Storybook Bkfst, but at CRT they bring out a cupcake with a candle. On our first trip the server and Mary Poppins sang Happy Birthday... this last time it was just the server who sang. But both times we received a "Magical Moments" certificate. We have had a similar experience celebrating an "almost" birthday at Chef Mickey's. And if you really want to, you can get a (free) birthday pin at the parks. The only one I am sure of is that you can pick it up at City Hall in the MK... not sure where to get them in the other parks.

I know some people think it is "cheating" to celebrate when it is not really the person's bday, but since Disney has no problem with it (I asked before I booked the PS) then I see no problem. I have a DD who has asked why we are always able to celebrate her brother's birthday at Disney (he was born in January, which is our usual time to visit WDW) and never hers (she was born in July..... I hope to never experience WDW in the summer!).... so we settled the problem by celebrating her half birthday at the World. HTH......................P

At the PSB they bring out a cutout cookie for them to paint with sugar icicng and a magical moment certificate. They did this for my 33 yr old bf too. It was too funny

PSB = Princess Storybook Breakfast (held at Akershus in Norway at Epcot)

CRT = Cinderella's Royal Table held in Cinderella's Castle at the MK
