Birthday Surprises for 5 year old girl.

We will be in Disney staying at SSR when my daughter turns five. She would like to go to CRT for breakfast and I believe you can order a cake which I am going to look into. Any other suggestions? I thought I had seen somewhere that you can have your room decorated and get a birthday pin? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You'll have a blast. We celebrated one DD's 4th and our DS's 6th birthdays at WDW on 2 different trips.

You can get the birthday button at City Hall in MK.

On the restaurant board there is tons of info about ordering a personalized cake (more costly). Many restaurants provide a free cupcake or a small basic cake can be ordered at the podium.

Now with the new promotion I believe there is a center piece you can request and pay for...but before that some restaurants would decorate the table with streamers and confetti if you let them know in advance that you are celebrating a birthday (Have it noted on all your special ADRs). At some meals the characters will give you a signed card or place mat.

Also, go to the front desk at your resort and request a birthday wake up call (Ours was Goofy).

As for decorating the room, there are companies you can pay to do this, but we just did it ourselves. (much cheaper)

Your resort front desk can also get you a pin, make sure that you note her birthday on your reservations for the hotel and dining reservations and they usually do something nice.

Another fun thing for little princesses is to go to BBB at the castle before breakfast for a little pampering. We did this with DD last year and she LOVED it.

We stayed at SSR in May and got an anniversarry button at check in. Mickey and Minnie surprised us with balloons and a card left in our room. So they may due something special for her in the room if they know.

So if I just booked through a travel agent for April reservations should I make sure that she let them know that we are celebrating a birthday on our trip? Is this done with the room and refrigerator request??
