Birthday suggestions?

We are going in September for 8 days, staying on sight and have the QS DP. I really want to do something special for my birthday since we will be there during. It will be my DH, DS 4, and myself. I know that we will be at MK on my birthday because it's my favorite of all the parks. What could we do that would be really special, but something we could all enjoy?

Have you thought about doing the Wishes Dessert Party? You get to end the night eating some yummy desserts and a good view of the fireworks. We are doing this on our first night when we go in Jan. to celebrate DD's birthday.

Depending on when you go in September you can do the Halloween party or the wishes dessert party if you want to stay in MK!

They aren't doing the Halloween party on my birthday. It's the day before. I would be sad if we weren't already going. As many times as we've been to DW, we have never done the Wishes Dessert Party. Is it really a good view of the castle show and the fireworks? I'm thinking I read somewhere that it's partially obstructed view.
