birthday seating for parades????

[OUR 1ST DISNEY TRIP]

My son is turning 6 durring our trip to disney. I was reading somewhere that people thought there may be special seats for kids (or kids at heart)can sit for parades. Is this true.

Not sure about that but for the MNSSHP parade I went and told the CM and they pulled DD12 into the middle of the street and had everyone sing to her before the parade started.

Also remember to get the Birthday Buttons at the Parks and DTD at Guest relations.

Never heard of 'special seating' for birthday kids. Can you imagine how many kids would be celebrating a birthday at WDW and want to sit in the special area? There'd probably be riots...
