We are going to disney in November for my DD 3rd birthday. Is the Whispering Canyon Cafe a good place for a 3rd birthday dinner? We are going to chef mickey's in the morning for breakfast for her character fix. Thanks for the help.

Whispering Canyon, although very good food and fun atmosphere, is rather loud. I would pick it if the child was a few years older. For a 3 yr. old, I would probably choose a place with characters. Why not do it a Chef Mickey's? Of course, since you have breakfast reservations, you might prefer dinner. My recommendation would be Garden Grille in Epcot. Love the food and characters. You might want to check into 1900 Park Fare. A bit expensive, but she could eat with Cinderella and Prince Charming. Possibly have a chance to try on the glass slipper and/or dance with Prince Charming.

Does your DD like princesses?

WCC is fun, but for my DD's 3rd bday, I would probably do Chef Mickey's for breakfast (like you are) & a princess meal for dinner - either CRT or 1900 Park Fare.

If you are looking for a non-character meal for the birthday dinner, which park will you be in that day? If it's MK, how about Tony's? That's kind of a fun atmosphere. If you'll be at Epcot, maybe she'd enjoy watching the fish at Coral Reef? If you're at AK I'd suggest the Rainforest Cafe. Not much to suggest at DHS; she's probably a bit too young to really "get it" for the theming at Sci-Fi or 50's PT. In DTD she might enjoy T-Rex.
