Birthday Questions

OK, so I've been reading a few threads regarding birthdays, and I've got a few questions.

So, a child can still get the birthday pin and all the goods even if it is not his/her actual birthday? My two will be celebrating birthdays while at WDW, and I'd like for them to get all the different birthday pins, but I had figured we wouldn't be able to because I'm not too keen on taking the little ones to four parks in one day.

Also, does anyone ask for proof of birthday dates? Will I need to bring something with their birthdays on it?

Everyone has told me to let my front desk CMs know about the birthdays, but should I combine both birthdays in one day, so as not to look selfish. I don't know if selfish is the word, but I don't want to seem like "hey, give us the birthday treatment twice!!"

HELP! Thanks!!!

I wouldn't go "expecting" stuff. Because so many people say it is their birthday when it isn't I have heard they really have cut down on what they do. You may get a few happy birthday's and if lucky maybe a cupcake but that's about it and it isn't guaranteed. They used to do more back when people where honest but now I wouldn't go thinking I was getting anything and if you do great.

I'm going off of info I got from these boards, and our experience at disneyLAND.

But really, it's all about the *celebration* of the event. My b'day is on the 12th of the month, we went on the 8th. I went to City Hall and told them I was *celebrating* myb'day that day (and I was), and they handed over pin! They really don't care about the specifics, it's all about the celebration.

This year we'll be there a month after our anniversary, and I plan to tell them we're celebrating our anniversary (and we will be) to have an anniversary pin.

While walking around with my pin, I got lots of well wishes from the CMs, but other than that, nothing. But the well wishes were nice!

As for any "extras", as far as I know you pay for those anyway, so *of course* they don't care when your actual day is. :) DH bought me a birthday bucket thing with a little cake (bleah), some princess magnets, brush and comb suitable for a baby (but pink and sparkly!), a pin...it's a birthday thing, but they didn't ask him questions when he bought it.

So just go and celebrate their birthdays for the whole trip! If you want to. :)

Sorry for hijacking thread

Ok, and I'm just being silly of course ... but really ...

Let's say, I wanted to do CRT for my daughter's birthday, she'll be three, but we go the day BEFORE her birthday while she's still two. Does that mean she'd get a happy birthday song and all that fun stuff but would eat for free?!?!

I'm totally kidding ... especially since Julie's birthday is 1/2 ... and there's NO WAY you'd pay me to go 1/1 ... but I wonder if it'd work. Hmm ....

From what I've read, if they start the trip at 2 years old, they'll stay (metaphorically) 2 years old. So, not so silly. As for still doing the 3 year old "happy birthdays"...I hope so!
