Hey all, so we just booked our trip for October with FD  We will be taking my DB who will be turning 13 the second day we are there. We will be getting his birthday pin at check in and will be hoping for some pixie dust while he is wearing it! (hopefully some cupcakes at the restaurants!!! :lovestruc)

Can you please share some of your WDW birthday stories?

We took MIL to Disney for her birthday. She loved the attention... CMs and guests all with birthday wishes. She made sure, her button was visible at every meal...well, actaully ALL the time. :goodvibesMost celebrated with cupcakes, but 50's PTC brought out s'mores.:thumbsup2

OMG, I had my birthday button on for our trip (my birthday was actually right smack in the middle of our trip) I got a cupcake pretty much at EVERY meal..... including breakfast ! It was fun in the beginning, after a while it was like "don't show me another cupcake!!" :lmao:

We got upgraded at our resort to a MK view and they put a white chocolate Mickey in the room w/ a Happy Birthday banner and cards from the characters.

We also got pulled out of line twice on Space Mountain and moved to the front of the line by CM's (now THAT was very cool !!) :thumbsup2

I have to say, it was truly one of THE most magical birthdays ever. I told my DH that he's got alot riding on this year ! :rotfl2: Our next trip we're going for his birthday. Honestly, I think we just were under a pixie dust sky because I don't think that was all that common. Believe me, I was truly grateful....mostly because it was our DD's first trip, so all these things made the trip even more magical to her. THAT was the most fun of all !!!

We were staying at the Wilderness Lodge when my daughter was turning 4. We were a little burned out from the parks, so we decieded to rent a boat and check out discorvery island and river country. When we returned our boat, we went to the rental office to pay. The presented my daughter with a balloon bouquet that was tied to a sand pail full of candy. They also said that there would not be any charge for the boat. It was the nicest suprise, and it made her feel so special. I had forgotten that she was even wearing the button!

We took my son to Universal for his 13th birthday this past March, but we had breakfast at Boma on his birthday. Our server was wonderful and held a "birthday photo shoot" for my son right at our table. The two of them struck a lot of funny poses, which made for some really great photos. Then he brought DS a dessert and made me & my DH sing Happy Birthday (and then promptly made fun of our singing voices, LOL). DS really enjoyed the attention. I think the server's name was Albert or Al...anyway, he was really great!
