This is my first post. We are going to Disney August 2008camping at Fort Wilderness. My grandson's birthday is at the time we are going. To get the Disney Pin do you have to prove that it's his birthday? Also he has a sister who will be jealous that of his attention. Any ideas of how to handle that?

No, they won't ask for proof.

You could get her a name badge with her name on it! Some of the gift shops in the parks sell them. Or, you can get her a pricess dress or hat, so that the CMs will give her attention too! :goodvibes

I was worried about this too. We were in WDW for my son'd 5th birthday. I thought my daughter would be very jealous. Luckily all the CMs paid her the same amount of attention. WHen they wished DS a happy birthday, they chatted with DD about her beautiful outfit or her hair, etc.

Is this the kids first trip? If it is, you can get her a button at the same time that celebrates her first trip.

Welcome to the camping board!

You get the buttons at Guest Services in Downtown Disney I believe and if you granddaughter is the right age for going to the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique she could have her hair done :) (Your grandson could also get a "cool dude" hair do which is very fun)....They will get MUCH attention at the parks and around Disney with their "do's" from BBB!

Good Luck!

If I remember correctly, it's a "button" though, not a "pin" like we get for pin trading....
