We live in Orlando and my 9year old wants to take a few friends to Blizzard Beach for his birthday. Luckily some of them have water park passes already. Anyway, we have only been 1 time several years ago. We don't have a large group, only 5 kids and 3 adults. Any suggestions on how to make this special without spending a ton? I need party prizes and food suggestions. Thanks!

If you're planning on providing lunch for all the kids, why not pack each kid's lunch in a plastic beach bucket? Wrap up a PB sandwich (or something else withough mayonnaise! ), a bag of pretzels, some gummy snacks, fruit rollups -- whatever -- and put them in a plastic pail with a shovel and a terry washcloth instead of a napkin. Maybe put in sunglasses as a party favor, or a Typhoon Lagoon pin or an inexpensive waterproof watch or even a couple of Disney dollars. Then either purchase drinks at the park or bring juice boxes or bottles of water in a cooler.

You can buy buckets and shovels at the dollar store, and lunch fixings can be as elaborate or simple as you want them to be.
