Birthday option?

What does it mean if you select the birthday option when making a ADR? Does it mean you have to pay for a cake, or what do they do? We are celebrating my wifes birthday in disneyland, but her birthday isn't actually until we get back 3 days later (I start med school again on her birthday). Should I select yest we are celebrating her birthday? Any other good ideas to make it special for her? (thats not too expensive)

No you do not have to buy anything. It just means that she may (I stress the word may) get a Happy Birthday greeting from your server, confetti on the table, and maybe a free cupcake. Double stressing MAY, none of this is guaranteed.
