My daughter will be celebrating her birthday on ship next year. I looked but can't find the answer to my question do they deliver the birthday cakes and decorations only on the first day of the cruise or can it be any day?

If you purchase the birthday package through the In Room Gifts, it's my understanding that those items are in your room on embarkation day. The cake, I'm not sure about.

The decorations are in your cabin set up and ready to go the day you board.
The cake can be done any day you choose. When you fill out the order form you let them know your preference as to date and time as well as location.

You could bring your own decorations if you would like and then decorate when you want to. The cake is an easy fix as you tell them when and where you want it delivered. But if you are worried about the room decorations, you could just request that they be done on the date you want when you call in the order.

On our Dream cruise this past May, my husband had the stateroom decorated for my birthday, which was our Castaway Cay day. It was the best surprise!
