Birthday meal?

My twin DD's 9th birthday is the second day we are there. We have breakfast ressies at Chef Mickey's which they are super excited for. We have dinner ressies at Mama Melrose with the intention of seeing Fantasmic after. I put on the ressies that we are celebrating their b-day. Will they automatically do something special for them? I'm not looking for anything crazy but just a little something.

Often there will be a small dessert, or something of that order.

I know at YSH they do various things, sometimes a card signed by the Characters, or a rose if the birthday celebrant is a woman, personalized menus...

So, other than a resoundingly poor experience for birthdays at Narcoosee's and California Grill, we've always had some small "giftie" as a marker of our birthday celebrations at WDW.

Hopefully they will, but it is up to the server if or what they will do.

So it is a good thing to mention the celebration at the podium so they remember, or give you to a server more likely to do something.

When we were at Mama Melrose last year for my sister's birthday celebration she received a make your own sundae. We didn't tell anyone that it was her birthday, they just noticed her birthday button. They brought out her special surprise with a round of Happy Birthday.
