Birthday Lunch @ Rose and Crown

Does anybody know if there's anything special I can have done for my mom's birthday lunch at Rose and Crown? Or can anybody reccommend a restaurant that does do something special for birthdays?

The complimentary desserts were stopped a couple of months ago, if you ask your server they can get everyone to sing happy birthday and bring out a birthday card signed by everyone.

We celebrated our anniversary at Rose & Crown and we were given free desserts. When I made our reservations, I mentioned it being our anniversary but I didn't go with any expectations of getting anything special. So, we were pleasantly surprised.

How about making a reservation at the GF for the tea. Let them know it is your mom's birthday and they will do somehting special. When you arrive you will receive a rose.

When my mom booked my tea at hte GF, without me knowing, she mentioned it was my birhtday. Right before the dessert course, they announced that is was "princess Jennifer's birthday" and proceeded to give me a tiera and a special cupcake.

I would do the tea at the GF over any dinner again.
