We are going to be at the World in April of '09:cool1: Our daughter is turning 6 while there. Any ideas for celebrating her day? We will be staying at Fort Wilderness for 10 days:woohoo: We really want to treat her to something special while there. Thanks in advance for your input.:thumbsup2

How about a makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? She can get her hair/nails/makeup done. http://allears.net/btp/bibbidi.htm She'll have a lot of fun dressed up at a character meal. Whatever you decide make sure to stop by Guest Relations and pick up a birthday button.

I know you can order birthday cakes for that day. I think the PP suggestion of BBB is great. Also a meal at Cinderella castle or at 1900 Park Fare. Tell them on your ressie and at checkin that you have a birthday, sometimes they put a birthday card in the room. You can make/buy a big button that says "its my birthday" or 'birthday girl". Bring some room decorations in your luggage to decorate the night before after she falls asleep. I've also seen some tinkerbell confetti at the dollar store that you can leave a trail from the room door to her pillow letting her know that Tinkerbell left a small gift under her pillow. You can have so much fun making that day special.

In 2003 our son celebrated his 7th birthday, we booked Chef Mickey for breakfast and secretly gave our waitress a gift wrapped MM watch for Mickey to present to him. The breakfast was great and he was given a cake with a candle in at the end. For our evening meal we booked CRT and Cinderella made such a fuss of him, our waiter covered him in confetti and gave him a huge card for everyone around us to sign. When we entered the breakfast in the morning, he was given a huge birthday pin which he wore all day, this led to cast members, parade characters etc to go out of their way to wish him a Happy Birthday. He even received a birthday phone call from Goofy in one shop when we were at the checkout. We finished the day with the parade and wishes fireworks. Boy it was a long long day, but so worth it. We all still talk fondly of the day and it is certainly a day he will never forget!:cheer2:

Here are some ideas:

* carriage ride
* they may offer pony rides at FW too
* tea party w/Alice
* pirate cruise
* meal at Cinderellas Royal Table or Hoop De Doo Revue
* Cirque Du Soleil (if you think she'd enjoy it)
* tix for Pirate/Princess party if available
* Tea Party w/Rose Petal and Aurora

Remember, just being in WDW for a birthday is pretty special too!!!
