Hi All
I have been perusing all the LA area travel books for inspiration. We are going to Pirates dinner for one of our dinners and are looking for a fun birthday for my soon to be 19year old son. We did Medievil Times for him last trip. We are considering a charactor meal for him but are open to other suggestions. We are from Canada and not overly familiar with the chains down there.

Son is goofy and laidback. Not the center stage type. Loves video games, reading, D&D, mysteries.
Would probably be happiest with unpretentious food....burgers? A fifites diner? Ice cream parlour type?
Open to any suggestions please and thank you.
ps we have a rental car available.

Hmmm. Maybe we should just do something simple at DL then something good back home. I'm sure he'd like anything as long as there's a big dessert.... maybe a Volcano?:rotfl:

I think we are overthinking all this.
Slyly ask him which piqued his interest most. He is pretty easy to please.
We can further celebrate back home.
Hey I see you're leaving about the same time as myself... oh wait ....yes we're sharing this dream aren't we

He said he wanted to check out the ESPN zone  I hope we don't lose him!
