Going to WDW in October during sons 3rd birthday. Any ideas that I can do for his birthday while there?:)

We'll be in WDW this August on my DD's b-day.

We've got ADRs at character meals for both breakfast (CRT) & dinner 1900 PF) that day. I'm also going to call The Grand Floridian 2 weeks ahead of time & order a b-day cake for dinner.

Hope your DS has a great b-day!!

I am planning on taking DD to Whispering canyon for her birthdat]y. She'll be 12 the day we arrive. I heard it was a really fun place on the restaurant board..I will make sure she asks for ketchup :cutie: . I only hope I will be able to order a custom cake there as I cancelled my res for 1900 PF and was going to orderone from GF.

Let them know at the front desk that his birthday will be on X date. See if they do something for him. Last year DS celebrated his 8th and there was a signed 5x7 photo of M&M with a bouquet of balloons. What a nice surprise to come home to. BTW, we were staying at Old Key West. It was sitting on our coffee table.

You can have a cake delivered to any disney resort or restaurant. At least that was the case in September.

They also have a full florist that will deliver a variety of items to the park.

For my daughter's 4th we went to the Magic Kingdom and had a scavenger hunt for her gifts. My husband went ahead and placed the gifts in a locker. he prearranged with cast members that are not moving around and each time we went to the cast member they gave her a clue that my husband had given them. It ended at the Main Street Barber Shop where we got her hair gelled in colors and glitter and they gave her the key to the locker. When she opened the locker my husband had placed toys and a balloon in it. The balloon floated out and she was thrilled! Ask for a locker on the bottom of the row.

I have also heard about people burying the gifts on the beach outside the Poly and having a pirates treasure hunt.

You could have a basket delivered to your room while you are at the parks and your child will think Mickey did it. i have used "www.memoriesbysarah.com" before and she is fantastic. She has all kinds of ideas. Enjoy
