Birthday Gift Baskets?

We are staying at the DLH, eleven days to go. Has anyone every had a birthday themed gift basket delivered to a room? I have called the Disney vacation planning number, but they are busy and I had to leave a message for a call back.

I am just wondering what these baskets include and what the cost will be approximately. I am splitting this with a friend, but we want an idea before we order it.

Hope someone out there in the Disney world has some tips for me.

Does anyone know how much notice they need for these or if you can order them ahead of time and charge them to your room?

We ordered/paid for them ahead of time. You have to order them thru vacation planning so I don't think you can charge it to your room--not sure. We were a little unhappy when we ordered ours. We ordered our boys each a little basket and the Christmas tree. They have certain times they deliver, so we went out to dinner and came back well after the delivery time and there was still no "surprise" for our children. The man came to our door around 8pm and wanted to set the tree up and the kids could see the baskets he had too. We went down to the gift store and he set everything up--That way the boys could be somewhat surprised when they came in.

When I was planning our Sept trip, I called to ask them to send me a list, and they emailed it to me. Probably the same as already posted here.

This is what they state, though it sounds like it doesn't always work that way. Oh, and the room service info is b/c she put some room service suggestions (like milk and cookies for $18, things like that).

Deliveries for Gift Baskets are done daily between 4-6 pm, you do not need to be in the room for the delivery. If you are interested in placing any of those orders, we would need a credit card # to charge them to. If you place an order for the Amenity Baskets, that would not be charged until approx. 2 days before your arrival. Rooms Service hours at the Paradise Pier Hotel are 6-11 AM and 5-11 PM Daily. Any room service amenities would not be charged until the day of delivery.
