Birthday Fun Card Question PLEASE HELP

1. I remember the team saying there was a birthday booth at the Magic Kingdom. Is that outside of the turnstile? (Can I pick up the card without entering the park?)

2. Can I use it at the World of Disney at Downtown Disney? I will use it on my birthday, but can I take it to WoD rather than using it at the MK where I plan to pick it up?

I have read and heard yes and no answers to both of these questions and it is so frustrating as I am trying to plan for that day.

I know John recently had a birthday and they discussed it on the podcast, but I am still unsure about these two questions.

I can try and help, but not sure.

1)I'd imagine that you have to enter a park to pick it up, as it's only as a replacement for your Free Park Entry, rather than just a free $75 for your birthday.

2) I'm pretty sure I've heard it mentioned that it can be spent in any Disney owned location/shop and even think I heard someone using it at WoD

I picked up my fun card at the MK to the right after going thru the bag check area. I used it at a gift shop at epcot. you don't have to use it all on your birthday. I still have about 30.00 on mine.

Thanks guys. Ok Teresa, so you are saying you did NOT go thru the turnstiles to get it, correct? And does anyone know for sure that I can use it at the WoD store?

I did not go thru the turnstile. And I just called to confirm and yes you can use it at the world of disney store at downtown disney.
