I registered myself and my 2 kids last week. I never got a confirmation e-mail, I even checked my spam box, nothing...

Also we have AP's and will be going on my B-day which is of course a black out day. Has anyone confirmed if I can pay my $40 for the ticket then get the $69 fun card?

No one has confirmed that here yet. The rules seem to say that if it's a blockout, you have to take the one-day one-park ticket, NOT the funcard. :headache:

That seems goofy. For if one can receive the one day/one park ticket for future use, why cannot one choose the gift card instead?

Oh, wait a minute. It just dawned on me, it is the ticket for admission for the day of your birthday, right? In which case, never mind. ;) he he!

From the FAQs section of the promotion on Disneyland.com:
"Q: What if I'm an Annual Passholder and my birthday falls on a day my Annual Pass is blocked out?

A: If your birthday falls on a day that your Passport is blocked out, you will be able to enjoy your birthday in the park with a 1-Day/1-Park Ticket. You can also use that ticket to upgrade to a park hopper ticket, to renew your Annual Pass, or to upgrade your Annual Pass."

It does not say anything about an option to buy your block out ticket and get the fun card, so I would say, no, you cannot.
