I didn't receive anything in my email to print up... what do I do now?
Do I just show up at Guest Relations? HELP?!

Yes. Bring along proof of birthday (Driver's Lic, etc.) and you'll still get it.

You'll have to go to the Main ticket booth unless you are a AP holder. If you have an AP, I suggest going to Guest Services at DCA. Less of a line.

Thank you... yes, AP holder... so Guest Services. Thanks. We are going tonight... I hope there isn't a time entrance speculation... like you have to enter the park before noon or something... do you know?

No, you should be fine whenever you go. We went to City Hall in DL to get DBF's fun card, we have APs as well. :)

Are you trying to get the birthday fast pass? Those run out.

If you're an AP holder, why are you going for the free entrance? if you're blocked out, you can pay for a blockout pass then get the "fun card", which is a limited giftcard in the amount of a one-day one-park pass.

Regardless, the ticket and the funcard don't have a time limit, other than it needing to be on the birthday.

What is a birthday fast pass?...
My understanding is that AP holder will get a "gift card" valued at the entrance price ... which I believe is about $69... and it is only good to use on the birthday. So we are going tonight.

You can also get a free one day, one park ticket to be used with one year. That ticket can be used to buy an AP when your current one expires. Or you can get the birthday fun card ($69) and use it to upgrade your existing AP if you want. The birthday fun card has no expiration. They did at first but Disney changed it due to California laws.

My neighbor got the one day park ticket and will use it to buy their next AP. Her youngest DD turned 6 on Friday, the 30th and her oldest DD turns 11 today. (She's there now, in the rain.)

BTW it's $69 for adults (10 and over) and $59 for kids (3-9)

Wow this is great information, THANKS... :thumbsup2
I'm glad they changed the "you have to spend it today" rule, although it is never hard to spend $$ there.
And WHAT
is up with this rain?... We are spending the weekend at the DL Hotel and it looks like we will be packing along our rain gear too.

I didn't get the birthday email either. I went after work, so walked up to empty ticket booths to get my fun card. HOWEVER, I had a less than happy older CM who insisted that I had to have the email. I told him that I had registered and had not received any email. He said I HAD to have the email and I told him again that I did register and did not receive any email. He took my AP/driver's license, grumbled something under his breath, punched in my numbers, handed me my fun card and wished me a happy birthday. Should have gone to Guest Services but the empty ticket booth windows were too inviting. Just had to get my fun card. i did think about getting the free day pass to use it to renew my AP, but I'm not good at delayed gratification.

Or.... you can get the fastpasses. You can select a few fast passes (2? 3? fps from a select list available) as your birthday gift. Not the one I would pick, but it IS an option.

Aye. The rain has arrived. :( Have a good birthday, regardless of the rain!

We made it to the Disneyland Hotel...
we drove thru all the RAIN and made it here in good time...
got into the park @ 7pm (closing time was 8pm tonight) and got the gift card! :cool1:
We'll be spending it tomorrow... probably on ponchos.
:lmao:
Thanks to everyone for the quick responses. :wave2:

Wait wait wait wait wait.

Let me get this straight. I must have been living in a hole!

You can now get your "freebie" day to be used later??

Since I've been living in said hole, is there somebody who would be willing to post how this is achieved? I'm already signed up for the what will you celebrate dealie, in that I have my birthday and myself registered...do you have to be at the park in person to get this "fun card"??

To get any of the "freebies" you have to be at the parks in person on your birthday. IF YOU HAVE AN ANNUAL PASS, you also have an option to get the "free admission" ticket to use to help you renew your pass. I'm not sure of all the details because as a premium annual pass holder I get in 365 days and really wanted the fun card which can be used for non food items and doesn't have to be used on your birthday. Sorry if I got your hopes up, but I was speaking as an annual pass holder.

I was not planning on being able to go on my birthday, so I didn't bother registering. But all of the sudden, it appears that I will be going to Disneyland on my birthday, but my AP expires the day before my birthday and I registered today. When I called Disneyland Guest Services today with questions about my situation, while I was on hold, they played a message saying that if you did not get the email notice, just show up at Guest Services with proof(government issued ID or birth certificate) of the birthday person(s) and they will help you out.

And to reiterate, the free birthday admission can be used towards the purchase of a new AP.

Do you have to be a premium AP holder to do this? I have a Deluxe AP. Can I just go to Guest Services and get my card?
Thanks
