I'm surprising my husband with a birthday trip to WDW in a couple of weeks. His favorite park is EPCOT (specifically World Showcase), so that's where we'll be on the day itself. We'll explore F&W for lunch, but I want to do TS for dinner.

Any suggestions on a fun experience? I think I'm narrowed down to Biergarten (we've done it before), Teppan Edo, and Marrakech. But I'm open to other ideas! Since it's a surprise, I can't ask him...ugh haha.

As background, we just got back from the real Italy and U.K., and he's not a big steak fan, so no Le Cellier.

Thanks!

Biergarten and Teppan Edo are communal dining if that at all is a factor (which I'm sure you remember if you did Biergarten before).
Marrakesh has a belly dancer, the food is pretty good. There is also the tapas restaurant on the lake if the weather is nice, in Morocco.

^At Coral Reef there is no guarantee about getting an aquarium side table, been there several times and never was sat near the glass.

Belly dancers at Marrakesh (given your list).

Other random thoughts:
--Monsieur Paul is less noisy (and more expensive), but the quiet could be more romantic.

--Have you done the Frozen Dessert Party....this surprise comes after dinner (so you'd maybe have to avoid dessert).

Biergarten would be our first choice. Fun atmosphere and entertainment and good food plus gigantic beers!

Sure, there's never a guarantee, but I've eaten there a few times as well, and if you let them know ahead of time that it's your anniversary, birthday, etc, they are usually accommodating.
No matter where you sit though, it's still a neat experience.

If you wanted an interesting atmosphere, I personally like the atmosphere of San Angel Inn. It is nice having a table in front of the pyramid. I have always found the food to be great.
