We did CRT for my daughter's birthday last year. She was crazy about that!! What restaurant would you suggest? Character interaction and ice cream sundae bar are two things she has asked for!:rotfl2: She will be turning 7. Thank you for your help!!

We did Chef Mickey's for my nephew's 6th in September. He still talks about it. They gave him a special laminated place mat(he uses it daily at home), Mickey decorated cup cake, did a napkin waving/song in his honor. Also at Chef Mickey's they take a group photo. Make sure they know its a bday, they put a little Happy Birthday symbol on the bottom of the photo, very cute. The photo package is optional to purchase, but they take everyone's photo.

There is a sundae bar and there were 5 characters (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck).

CM would be a great choice! Also you might check into the princess meals at the Grand Floridian. I know that there are several. I'm not really sure what it served but you could always look at the menu online before you book.

We've had DD's birthday at both Park Fare (GF) and Princess Storybook (Epcot) Both were wonderful locations! We did PF for breakfast since it was the day we left. They gave her a special laminated placement signed by characters (had to carry this on plane since we had already packed, and check our luggage! :confused3 ). She also got a birthday cupcake.

At PSB they also did a great job. We were there for lunch. She got to wear a special cape, they gave her a septer (sp?) to keep, and a card signed by the staff.

I think either one would be a good choice, but I would pick PF over PSB, and they have ice cream too! (unless they took it out during last year's rehab.)

We took my daughter to CM's for her 5th b/day last Aug and she had a great time.

It was a memorable night for all of us.

I am surprising my kiddies in August and we are staying at the CR ..we will be at WDW over my middle son's birthday, he will be 8. After much deliberating I choose Wispering Canyon for his breakfast at WL..we can hop on a boat from the CR...I heard it is really cute for birthdays..the waiters/waitresses do antics throughout the meal and sing and dance for them. For dinner I choose CRT..we are spending his day in the MK and felt it would be the most festive for his birthday..not to mention my daughter, 6 will love it to...

The link below is the best birthday guide for Disney I have seen..a lot of hints..have a great time! ;)

We've booked Chef Mickey's for my DD 12th birthday whilst we're there on 25th March. Have let them know already when I made the ADR - can't wait!

We did Crystal Palace for DD 8th birthday in December. The food was great, family oriented, fun for the kids, great interaction with characters: Pooh and friends.

We will be heading there again in April... love their prime rib!!
