Hi everyone.
We are going March 7-12 and on the last day it will be my son's 9th birthday :cake:
I booked us for lunch (they don't dinner have anymore ressies for dinner) Just curious if anyone knows what they will do for him? Is it like any other restaurant where they come out sing, and he gets dessert? There is nothing wrong with that...I guess I'm thinking cause its DisneyWorld...they would do something 'different'. KWIM?

What they do depends a lot on your server and how bussy they are. I have never known them to come and sing ( but they might). Every time we go we have a birthday. Most of the places will decorate the table with confetti. If you eat at place with characters they often bring you a card signed by the characters and a cupcake.

My dd will be 9 on March 12 too:thumbsup2

There is no guarantee they will do "anything" for his birthday. I have not seen servers sing at Disney. He "may" get a cupcake. But like someone else said it is really up to the server you have. If you want to guarantee something you make want to order (and pay for) a cake. I think the restaurant board has a thread with pictues of cakes.

I wouldn't expect anything but you can call and make sure they are aware its her birthday on that day and ask if there are any special things you can do.

At the Coral Reef for my husbands 40th..I called and got a personalized Menu and at the time they were doing divers in the tank and half way thru dinner they held up a sign that said Happy Birthday. One of the divers picked up sand from the bottom and threw it up in the air like confetti. It was great.

For my 40th, Narcoosees did a personalized Menu for me and I got a free dessert with candles. Loved it.

.

We had both those done in August 2008, but as far as I know, both services have been discontinued.

My son will be turning 7 whiel we are in WDW - we are doing a character breakfast that day...I am hoping they will do SOMETHING even if it is just a card...its his special day!

We went there in Nov for DD's birthday. Our waiter brought DD a smoothie as a "birthday gift".
