Does anyone know if they do anything for birthdays at Tchoup Chop? Can you order a birthday cake or have the staff sing "happy birthday"?

We'll be in Orlando next month and my 10-year-old wants to have her birthday dinner there. She's a big fan of Emeril's. She thinks Emeril will be there cooking dinner. LOL now wouldn't that be a REAL birthday treat!!! ;)

Happy Birthday to your Daughter and what a great choice to celebrate her birthday dinner. When we were there last December, we toured the Royal Pacific hotel, and when I saw this restaurant, I knew then that was the place to have a romantic dinner. The decor was breathtaking. I can't wait to return just so that we can have dinner there.

I ate dinner on my birthday there two years ago. My parents let them know and they brought me out Banana cream pie with a candle.

We are also visiting next month and have reservations for August 5th for our DDs 10th Birthday :cool1: She actually was willing to give up the big party at home for this, and even know that Emeril will most likely not be there.

DD also gave up a party this year since last year we had a big party at the house too. This year she wanted to do something different.

Thank you Louise1928! This will be our first stay at the Royal Pacific. We were at the Portofino last December, a couple of days before Christmas. Kids weren't too impressed with Portofino. It was the furthest from the parks.
I know my daughter will love the Royal Pacific because she loves the South Seas theme very much.

Thanks for the reply highlander447. I see you're from Livingston, Scotland. My husband is from Greenock, Scotland. Isn't it a small world?
