My daughter is turning 6 on 12/8, and really wants to go see Fantasmic that night - so I need somewhere fun to eat before-hand! Where would a 6 year old have the most fun, and be treated very special on her big day?

I don't really care about the Fantasmic package, so that doesn't need to factor in!

Thanks!

Hands down, the best place to dine at MGM is at the 50's Primetime Cafe. The food is great and so is the service. I think they will make a really big fuss over the birthday girl.

That's what I was thinking, but wasn't sure if maybe Sci-Fi was better...

I've never eaten at either - so I'd love any opinions!

Don't go to the Sci Fi for the food -- it's not that great. It's the kind of place that you stick to the hamburgers, onion rings and malts. If you stray from this, you might be disappointed.

I haven't tried 50s Prime Time so can't offer any suggestions on that. We are trying the Brown Derby for my birthday in November. I can let you know when we get back!

We did Prime Time for my son's birthday in May. They did make a big fuss over him - sang to him, brought him dessert - and the kids got a kick out of Mom and Dad being instructed to clean their plate. We had a blast!
