Birthday Dinner at CRT

It will be my daughter's 7th birthday. Will they do anything special - like sing Happy Birthday? Can I special order a small cake for our dessert?

I saw a phone number posted somewhere around here but I can't seem to get the search function to find it. Call Disney Dining and they can probably give it to you or maybe my posting and thus bumping this will yield more help.

My daughter and I had her birthday dinner at crt this past May. My daughter had on her birthday button and we were not expecting any special treatment. But our waitress (Jess) noticed her button and decorated our table with Mickey confetti. Then at the end of the show show with the Fairygod Mother, Suzy and Perla they wished everyone a Happy Birthday and brought chocolate birthday cakes to the tables where a birthday person was. Needless to say my little 19 year old princess was thrilled

You can arrange her to get the slipper dessert at CRT. It's a white chocolate slipper filled with chocolate mousse. I think it's 12.50-14.50. They also can do cakes if you call them, but not sure if they can be personalized. I have heard at the Grand Floridian you can order the mini cakes that look simular to a wedding cake with a white chocolate castle on top. It is pretty small so would feed 1 maybe 2 at the most. They run 25 I believe. There are some birthday cake threads on here which is where I found these ideas for our upcoming honeymoon there. HTH

You can order a cake or cinderella slipper dessert by calling GF dining about 48 hours in advance - i know the number is on here somewhere.

If you advise them before hand the staff members will sing happy birthday! Just call WDW Dining and ask them to put a note on the ADR!

I ordered the Cinderella slipper dessert at CRT for dd's 13th birthday on our August trip. It was $12.50 which came out to a little over $15 after tax/tip. It also came out with a little "wishing star" on the plate.

They decorated the table with confetti.

During the little presentation by the Fairy Godmother, Suzy, and Perla, they ask if anyone is celebrating a birthday. They don't really give individual attention, but there is some recognition there. My dd didn't want any extra attention, so she was happy.

You can also order regular cakes. The number to call for special desserts at CRT is 407-824-7091. If you call outside of business hours, leave a voice mail. They called me back the following morning and were very helpful.
