We will be at Disney World for my son's 12th birthday and we are trying to decide where to eat and celebrate! We have all ate at Chef Mickey's, Akershus, Backyard BBQ and Crystal Palace. I currently have a reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table which is somewhere he has mentioned but after reading reviews I am not convinced it is worth the $420 it would cost our family to eat there. We are going on the 3 day Disney cruise also during this trip so we will have plenty of "fancy" meals during that time. Just looking for ideas/suggestions that I may not have considered!
Thanks!

My 13yo nephew loves California Grill around when Wishes would be going off. That gives it a little extra something.

Here's some of my 12 yo ds's favorites:

Le Cellier
Yak & Yeti
Trex Café
1900's Park Fare
Tony's (Yes, I know this isn't a poplar one :) )
O'Hana's

We are celebrating his 13th this year when we go and he actually requested to do CRT, so we are giving it a try.

O'hana could be fun! Have you thought about doing Hoop De Doo Review? It's a bit pricey, but a lot of fun. Maybe Whispering Canyon? 50's Prime Time?

My 12 year old recommends T Rex, Whispering Canyon, Sci Fi, or Ohana. :)

What about Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club, and you could get the kitchen sink giant sundae to share? It won't break the bank and could be pretty memorable if you haven't done that yet.

My teen says Rose and Crown would have been a hit for him at that age, especially neat Illuminations.

Thank you for all of the great suggestions!! I think we are sticking with our reservations at Cindy's. We have always wanted to do it and would probably be the last time I could get the boys to go :)
I want to try all of the ones that have been mentioned! We do have breakfast res. at BOG.
I need to go eat my way around Disney sometime without kids :)

My 13 year old wanted to go to Fulton's Crab House...something about crab legs and eating on a giant boat appealed to him!

50s Primetime

We brought my nephew to 50s Primetime for his 14th Birthday meal and he loved it! When we checked in for our ADR we told them it was his birthday...and then after we ate they brought him a cupcake and our server (along with the whole room) sang Happy Birthday to my nephew! It was a blast!

We are going for my son’s 12th birthday in June. His choices for the day:

Boma for early Breakfast

Splitzville for bowling and lunch

Dinner at our food court (he thinks we will be at Pop, but we are surprising him with AKL), and making sure to eat it outside near the pool.

Whispering canyon cafe! My kids love it. My son was 9, almost 10 the last time we went and he and my other 2 ask if we are going to eat there again.
