Birthday Celerbration Mom & Son:Sept 24~30 *Last Day Le Cellier Complete!*

We've always had breakfast at CP every trip to WDW. We just love Pooh and the gang and 8:05 am adr so we could walk in almost empty Main Street.

This morning DCuz really wanted to spend more time in DHS taking pictures and ride RnR and ToT. DS and I wanted to keep our ADR at CP so we split. However, this morning we had to check out from our resort, do air line check-in at lobby, and load the car with out suitcases so it took longer than other morning. :sad1: Yep it is the last day and DS told me not to remind him of that. When we got to MK it was 10 minutes before 8 but the line for breakfast ADR was long. Also, this morning, they did not let in the guest until little past 8. When we checked in podium at CP it was 8:15 already! However, we were called in last than 5 minutes and shown to a table of two. Our server's name was Tammy. For a change, I remember the name!!! :upsidedow She quickly got us coffee and drinks and told us to get our food right away.

I ordered vegetable omellet which was really yummy and got some fruits and other goodies. I know that DS got his favorite chocolate Mickey Waffles. They had yummy strawberries which we ate alot with some whipped cream. Unfortunately, I cannot find the pictures of our food! :sad2: I know I took them but maybe I deleted them accidentally???

Anyways, we met our characters and paid our bill which was 2 TS credit ($48.92) and left $6 tip. Everything we tasted were fresh and hot. I guess being one of the first guest into the buffet restaurant really helps the freshness since nothing has sat too long on the table.

As you know, CP is one of my FAVORITE meals in all of Disney. Just gotta love having breakfast with Pooh and friends.

I just made reservations for a return trip in January and this will be the first time I am not going to CP in many years.

After spending another lovely morning in MK, by 11am we moved to Epcot. Before we went, DS wanted to have his favorite MK snack. Another Dibs.

CIMG4479.jpg

He and I finished them in our airconditioned car on the way to Epcot.
We were supposed to meet DCuz at Epcot. We did a couple rides in Future World, including Test Track (we cashed in our FP from day before). DS was getting hot and wanted ice cream so we stopped at Fountainview. He got chocolate ice cream in waffle cone with Mickey sprinkles.

CIMG4313.jpg

This was one snack credit ($3.93). I also got a bottle of Dasani using another snack credit ($3.18). We still had several snack credits left b/c we didn't use much on F&W festival. We had to use lots of it. So we went into Mousegear and DS had lots of fun picking out candies to take home. He picked some huge swirl lollipop, unicorn lollipop, and few bags of Goofy's Candy Company gummies and candies. We used all our 6 remaining snack credits. I didn't look at prices closely but there were all nearly $4/snack.

Our ADR for LeCellier was not until 2pm and we were really starving by noon so we decided to share some nachos from La Cantina. Our another favorite CS. When we got there, there was no line for order so we quickly ordered and got our food. However, there were many people seating and eating already so we decided to take a seat indoor at La Hacienda. Thankfully, they had a couple of tables available.

DS and I shared large Sprite and Nachos.

CIMG4519.jpg

This is really big in portion! It is so big that we couldn't finish. However, it was very tasty and hit the spot! We wanted snack-type meal since we have LeCellier ADR little later. The chils were fresh and as you could see, there were lots of topping. DS liked the black ones as to while and red chips. We could have finished it but help ourselves and didn't eat it all. :rolleyes1

Cantaloupe Paletas was ok. I don't know what I was expecting but is was just flavored posicle. It was refreshing but not all that tasty. Just ok.

I also am thinking for the first time, we might not go to CP next trip. We've done it so many times I think there's no wow factor anymore. I think coming trip, we might just do none character breakfast such as Kouzzina, Kona, etc for a change.

That ice cream cone looks quite tasty - and those nachos! Yum! We also used up a lot of credits on the last day, I had way more snacks that day than any other :)

Cool! I drive through Cherry Hill on my way from downtown Philly to Mt Laurel when I visit!

Subbing in on this looks like a great time and I'm a single Mom and have gone with just my dd several times even on the cruise so I'm used to it ;)

Hey Jill - I live and work in Mt. Laurel so was jw what company you work for could me the same as mine? I work for PHH Mortgage Company! Wouldn't that be :cool1:?

Since I am going with another Diser and her daughters, she's in charge. But I believe we are going to Tusker House; I've never been so looking forward to it.

I love the snacks...they all look so yummy and I could go for that ice cream with the sprinkles right now. :goodvibes

We loved Crystal Palace!! The best part is walking into the park before opening. :lovestruc

The last day is the hardest. :sad1:

Mmm Crystal Palace is a great breakfast buffet! We loved it though never had the park to ourselves as we are not morning people!

We also tried those nachos and have to agree about the size of them - so hard to finish.

It was very tasty! As much as DS like ice cream he usually cannot finish so he let me have some. ;) This was actually first time with so many snack credits left but we gave those candies as souvies to DS's friends. :goodvibes

Cool you live very close to us. I work in Moorestown. It was my first ever trip with just DS so I was little nervous but all went well. We had super great time and really great memories!!!

We like Tusker House as much as Crystal Palace! It was been our must do every trip also. Hope you like it!

I could definitely use some of those Disney goodies!

Last day, I get that sinking feeling.... so sad that it's all over. :sad1: However, we enjoyed our day to the fullest!!!

We are MORNING PEOPLE. We get up anyways so why not get the best out of it by getting early ADR and walk into virtually empty park for great photo opportunities! ;)

Aren't those nachos huge? I think we could share between three/four as a snack. popcorn::

I finally caught up! Oooh those nachos from the CS in Mexico look delicious! I love Mexican food though. Its always so sad to have the last day in the parks :guilty:

Glad you enjoyed dinner at 'Ohana! I'm still dreaming about their yummy salad...

My family liked to go to the Hibachi-style Japanese place here in town... I think I'll have to keep Teppan Edo in mind for our next WDW trip!

We've done breakfast at Crystal Palace on our trips... love seeing Pooh and friends! Though we've always done a late breakfast. Maybe next time we'll do an early one so we can get into the park early.

I so wish that I could have those nachos again right now! ;)

CP early breakfast is always special to us! Practically empty Mainstreet provides best photo opportunities especially with Photo Pass.

Thanks for your review.

Thank you for reading!

After doing last minute shopping, we met DCuz infront of LeCellier check-in podium. We quickly checked in and it was relief to walk into dark and cool inside of the restaurant. It was just way to hot to be outside! We waited last than 5 minutes before we were shown to our table.
This time everyone ordered different drink. DS ordered stawberry milkshake.

CIMG2912.jpg

Sorry! He quickly took sips before I whipped out my camera!

DCuz ordered Molson Canadian $5.75. I don't have picture of it.
And I stayed with my favorite which is Niagara Splasher.

CIMG3903.jpg

We got our bread basket soon after.

CIMG3904.jpg

I'm recycling my pictures from earlier one since I seem to lost many of the last day pictures. :headache:

DCuz ordered Korean Style steak which I cannot find on both allears.net and wdwinfo menu at all. He said that it was ok tasting but nothing special. He wished that he ordered Mushroom fillet instead.

DS ordered from the kid menu. He wasn't terribly hungry after our nachos from La Cantina so he ordered pasta with tomato sauce.

CIMG2916.jpg

Actually, this was very good pasta cooked to Al Dante and sauce was tasty as well. DS really enjoyed this since he didn't have pasta since our first full day and it was cream sauce based one.

I ordered my beloved Mushroom Fillet but little different this time. I asked what are the options for subbing rissoto and our server said that I could get Mashed Potato, Frech Fries and Roasted Potatos. So I asked for Roasted Potatoes.

CIMG2915.jpg

Once again, the fillet was perfectly cooked medium that I asked for. It was very tender and full of flavor! The roasted potatos provided the starch I needed and it had nice spicy taste to it. But as much as I enjoyed the meal, I think I'll stay with mashed potato since IMO it compliments the meat better.

We were just so full after our entree but DCuz ordered Maple Creme Brulee. DS and I skipped our desserts.

We used our last 2 TS credit and paid OOP for kids meal which was $8.99.

I cannot even find the receipt for this meal! :headache:

After our meal, we shopped and slowly made to our car. It was time to get to MCO for our plane. We talked about our meals and all agreed that it was very worth it to get DDP and not worry about cost of our meal. This time, we went with Free Dining promotion (which is not really free since you could get other forms of discounts). I know that even with missing receipts we made far ahead than the cost of DDP. Also, it was very worth it to upgrade DS (8) ticket to adult so that he could get adult meals. We were much happier with adult meal choices and didn't have to look closely on kids menu offerings. So I know next trip, whatever meal plan we end up choosing, I definitely know to upgrade DS's to adult one.

DDP Cost for 3 adults/ 6 nights = $827.82
Total Speding on DDP = $979.57

We came out $151.75. Of course, some meals, we ordered appetizers and shared 2 adult portions so we could extend the TS credits. However, we had 3 breakfast buffets which is not a good value to spend DDP credits. If you want to get most out of your money, it's better to stick with dinners in general. Also we didn't go for the most expensive item on menu or dinner always but we still came out ahead than the cost of DDP. I think DDP is very worth it if you want to do at least one TS meal/day.

Great LeCellier review. I've not gotten to mine yet (but I will say we won't go back for dinner). We've done the dining plan the last four trips and this one we skipped it. We came out about the same as what the dining plan would have cost. I think we are going to skip it one more year.

Loved all your reviews.

Thanks for sharing another one of Le Cellier - I really want to try it now. I agree in that the DDP is so worth it and means you don't have to worry about your meals.

I'm curious about that Korean style steak! I really want to try Le Cellier but I don't like mushrooms, and it seems like so many of the dishes are mushroom based. It sounds like they've changed the menu slightly so I may be more inclined to actually try it :goodvibes
