Hi- has anyone ordered balloons and/or gifts to the room for their child's birthday? I am thinking of doing it, but it seems SO expensive. $70 for balloons and a doll? :confused3 Can anyone tell me about their experience?
We will be at WDW staying at BWV for my daughter's 3rd birthday.
Thank you!

I'm wondering if a local florist would be cheaper? Our ODD's bday is oct 23 and we're going Nov 1-7th. I'd like to make it about her, since we are taking the youngest to see lady gaga for her birthday. I'd be interested to know too!!

A local florist is a great idea-

Not that it's a HUGE deal, but do you think they would still be able to have it in the room? I feel like a local florist would only be able to drop off at the front desk.

I want to check in and walk into the room, and the balloons and stuff be there.

I asked a similar question, and everyone said that Disney won't have anything in your room until you check in. So I don't know if that will be a problem for you or not.

Now this was back in 2000, but for my ds's 5th birthday I purchased a small stuffed mickey and wrapped it up at home, snuck it in my suitcase and then had my dh go to the front desk at the Fort Wilderness campground where we were camping. He asked the cm if they could bring the gift by the camper that afternoon and that it was for my ds's birthday. Not only did the cm bring the gift by but brought a mickey balloon and birthday card signed by mickey.
