Birthday Cakes, Trip on a Lake, DIS Meets&More-Christmas Time 09 TR! UPDATE 12/20!

Also, I'm going to repost my itinerary with a few little changes to it. Actually only two changes but I'll do it anyway

Saturday 11/28-
Leave Long Island on a 6:20pm flight
Get to Orlando around 9, retreive our luggage and get picked up by the La Quinta Inn & Suites shuttle
Get to La Quinta by 10ish
SLEEP!

Sunday 11/29-
Be up by 8 to get the free continental breakfast at La Quinta
Be out of La Quinta by 9 and head back to the airport on their shuttle
Go to the DME line and wait for our bus
DME to WDW!!
Hopefully check into AKV by 11 (room probably won't be ready)
Relax and check out the resort
Head over to DTD for lunch ressie at House of Blues at 1:45!
Walk around DTD a little after lunch
Head back to AKV to relax and get ready for the night
Dinner reservation at 6:45 at The Wave!
Monorail resort hop a little
Meet up with Lauren and Heather (and their fams) at the Poly beach for drinks and to watch Wishes!!
SLEEP!

Monday 11/30-
Up very early and eat quick breakfast in the room
Get to DHS for rope drop!
Of course head right for TSM
Ride as many rides as we can until lunch ressie at 50s Prime Time Cafe at 12:50!
Spend the rest of the day at DHS!
Not seeing Fantasmic but planning on riding lots of rides while everyone else waits on line LOL
Dinner at a QS...probably Backlot Express
Check out Osbourne Lights hopefully meeting up with Rosie and Colleen!
Park closes at 8, head back to AKV
Hot tub time at AKV?
SLEEP!

Tuesday 12/1-
Up early with breakfast in the room
Be at the MK by 8:45 for our Keys to the Kingdom tour!
Tour from 9-2ish with lunch at Columbia Harbor House included!
After the tour, do as many rides between 2 & 5:30pm
Leave the MK to head to the Polynesian for dinner ressie at 'Ohana at 6!
Head over to Pop for another DIS meet with Colleen, Heather, Lauren, Tammy, Tiana and hopefully more!
Back to AKV for SLEEP!

Wednesday 12/2-
Up by 9, get ready, breakfast at The Mara!
Get to AK by 11am
Spend the day at AK
Lunch at either Pizzafari or Yak & Yeti
PM EMH at AK tonight!!
Stay there until around 7:15
Head back to AKV for Boma dinner at 7:45!
DIS Meet at AKV with everyone!
SLEEP!

Thursday 12/3-
Up by 8:30 to get to Kona Cafe for breakfast by 10:10!
Head to the MK for the Christmas parade taping!! (Thanks Tammy!!!!)
Go back to AKV to get ready for the night
Head back to the MK by 4pm for MVMCP!!!!
Try and get a walk up seating for dinner at Tony's Town Square as soon as we get there
If we can't get into Tony's eat a CS dinner later at Cosmic Ray's
Do all the party festivities including the parade, castle lighting, holiday Wishes, Tomorrowland Xmas show and all the rest!
Meet up with all the girls at some point during the night!
Ride lots of rides!
Stay until the park closes at midnight
AKV for SLEEP!

Friday 12/4-
Up by 9 and head to Epcot getting there by 10:30am
Grab breakfast at Sunshine Seasons after getting Soarin' FPs
Ride some things in FW
Head over to WS when we're done in FW
Check out the countries including a few of the movies in the countries and performances as well
Dinner ressie at Biergarten at 5:45pm!
Meet up with Tammy and family at one point during the night
PM EMH at Epcot tonight!
Watch Illuminations
Ride more rides in FW
Stay at park as late as we can
Back to AKV to SLEEP and pack up

Saturday 12/5-
Last morning waking up in WDW
Get up and check out by 9:30ish
Head over to the Wilderness Lodge for breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe
Head to DTD to DisneyQuest
Back to AKV by around 3 for DME back to the airport
Flight home to Long Island at 5:55pm
Cry the whole way home

#4- Magic Kingdom all "Christmas-ed" Out/Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Words can't express how happy I am that I get to head to the World for Christmas time. You see, I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE Christmas, so so much like a little child. I also LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE Disney World, so so much like a little child. Mix them both together and, well, you have one HAPPY Kristen. To say I'm happy is an understatement! Then on top of it all, I get to go to MVMCP! I've seen tons of pictures on many other people's TRs and can't wait to get there to experience the fun! Even though we get plenty of snow up here in NY, I'm still even excited to see it snow on Main St. LOL And I just know when I see that amazing castle all lit up with the icicle lights, I'm going to tear up! So once again, here are some pictures that are NOT mine. Lots of them are from allears.net, Jack Spence's article, and a few are from Google Images and photobucket!

Ahhhh those pictures are pure heaven and when I'm there, I think I will just melt!

OMG Rosie, me too! I keep running through all the things I need to do before Saturday! I don't even have a suitcase out! I did see the weather forecast though and it looks like low 70s-60s during the days and 50s and sometimes 40s at night! I though we were supposed to be ESCAPING the cold north?!

Meeee too, Julie! We did a good amount of resort hopping in April and really enjoyed it so I'm sure we'll enjoy it even more at Christmas time. I just wanted to tell you I've been so confused on what kind of clothes to pack since the weather is so unpredictable down there at this time. I just keep thinking of your TR from last year and seeing people with ear muffs on! LOL

We can't wait and even gave up free dining to keep our reservation here!

you won't regret this!!! the ability to stay deluxe and not pay deluxe is just a great thing! now that i've gone DVC i'll never go back. renting points is just THE way to go for us. i actually added up what the cost difference would be if we stayed at WL with free dining as compared to paying for dining and renting points at VWL and we STILL came out $300 ahead!

After our April trip, Chris made me promise that this trip would be a little more laid back. We went and went and went without stopping in April and although we had a good time, we were DEAD by 9 or 10 pm.

this sounds just like us after our first trip together!

okay, hold the phone!!! this is the first i have heard of this. i don't want to toot my own horn here but lauren booked her trip through me and we actually came up with the idea of her and jacob just having an easy night that first day and watching wishes from the poly beach. so now it's a group thing??? HOW FUN!!!!! oh, i wish i could just drive down there for that little meet. and i do believe this will be holiday wishes that you'll be seeing because there's an MVMCP that night, which will be SO PRETTY from the poly beach. i think it starts at 9:30.

Check out Osbourne Lights hopefully meeting up with Rosie and Colleen!

just a tip - hang out until after closing if you can manage. that area will really empty out and enjoying the lights without having to deal with a crowd is just so enjoyable! and they keep the lights on for about an hour after closing with the music and everything.

another tip - get a plan in your head for MVMCP. there is SO MUCH to see during the party and those five hours go by FAST!!!! i did a plan for a friend. if you want to see it, just PM me.

Erica, are yall staying at Pop as well?! I'd love to meet you!

i wish!!!! i'd totally do it. but since this is all happening at the end of the month, no can do. i'm trying to get a 2-week child molestation trial turned in this month so i can get paid for it in december and i'm sure the last couple of days of the month are gonna be MADNESS with me trying to get that monster together. tell her i'd totally be up for it if it wasn't for that! i couldn't afford to go to any parks right now, but who needs parks??? i could just go get a lapu lapu and watch fireworks from the beach. oh, how i wish....

I don't know if you've read my tr, but we can't be friends on Thanksgiving!! It'll probably be good for you, but so depressing for me. You guys just got out of your 4 game losing streak right? We just lost our 4th in a row!! Guess we'll see what happens, but I've lost a lot of faith in my boys!!

Well....with these parade tickets you would get in the MK for FREE on the 3rd and 4th! I printed extras just in case someone in the group needed them.

Good luck with the case. Wouldn't it be nice if they'd just put them all in the gas chamber once a month and be done with it!? I mean really. That or something even worse that I can't put here. Our punishment never fits the crime in the USA. If I could rule the World for day....

For real....Ashley really wants to go and I can probably get that free dining deal reinstated that we had booked!
